SR22 G1000 unable to release brakes

Subject says it all. New download. MacOS Ventura 13.4 MacStudio 32 gig ram. Plane loads, flys beautifully provided I start in the air. I have to do that because brakes do not release if I’m on ramp or end of runway I’ve done several reinstalls. I gotta be missing some setting. Any input I’d be grateful for. Anthony

ahh yes, the missing setting, I fortuitously discovered to engage those brain systems that, had I done so earlier, I'd've not had to take up bandwidth - brake release failed because I simply did not turn the handle prior to and in accompaniment of pressing it forward.  I gotta say that the entire control response of the aircraft is utterly amazingly smooth and precise. I can imagine that with a dedicated Cirrus side-stick it is likely even better than with my Redbird yoke. Kudos to the developers.  Anthony

Glad you figured it out.  Simming and real-life flying is becoming more and more asymptote.
