Loupedeck Switch question

I'm trying to program the Loupedeck Live to control a 3 position toggle switch in the CL650. Specifically its the Hydraulic 1B switch. There are a couple of these switches in the Challenger. Do I need to use dref and use the 0,1,2 or how would I go about this in Xmidi? I have tried a couple different ways and cant get it to work. I'm not sure how the switch needs to be programmed in the Loupedeck software either. examples I have seen do not seem to work for me either. Any help would be great!
