ACJ71 Posted August 28, 2022 Report Posted August 28, 2022 (edited) I have a quick question to see if you might have a solution for this. I recently purchased the X-Aviation G5 and using it as a pop out instrument on Vflyteaire's Cherokee 140 modern. The 140 has an analog panel with an HSI which mimics the one I'm using currently for Instrument rating. I'm using the G5 because that's what my plane has but one thing I have noticed is that when I use it the course arrow doesn't auto slew to the programmed GPS waypoint or fix and when I dial the course selector on the HSI the G5 dial moves. When I use it with the Digital panel it works correctly but that panel doesn't look like what I'm flying so I am trying to stay with the analog panel. Is there a fix that would remedy that? Solution: I found the solution int the G5 integration guide: It was down under the 3-D section so I missed it. In Plane Maker → Systems, check auto adjust CDI to GPS DTK and set AP Heading to AHRS Note: This is a requirement to allow the GPS to auto-set course. The G5 will still function without this, course will just need to be manually adjusted with the GPS. Edited August 28, 2022 by ACJ71 Solution Quote
