Increase or decrease cabin/cockpit temperature

Right now the only way is activating or deactivating packs, but the system is not full simulated, because we don't simulate human confort for now. Maybe if we find time in the things we want to implement we will do.

Thanks

Many Thanx Javier! How is it going with the FMC improvements?

Currently cabin and cockpit temperature are modeled like this: If started cold&dark, the initial temperature of cabin and cockpit is the same as the outside temperature.

If the packs are on, the temperature is gradually regulated to 22 °C (the standard setting).

If packs are off, temperature trends against outside air temperature again.

FMC improvements are coming along fine. New pseudo-waypoints are finished, STAR and SID transitions are implemented, currently I'm working on the holdings.

So there is A LOT going on now, however, DON'T ask me for a date when you will get hands on it.

Many thanx Philip: a question out of sheer curiosity: will we be able to set the altitude in the fmc as in the real one?

You will be able to set restrictions and get ADVISORY T/C, T/D and E/D waypoints, but NO automatic guidance, as the real Rockwell Collins FMS4200 doesn't have this.

PS Philips if you get time, please watch this youtube video: From 1:48 MIN ON! Will it be simulated?
