Trees on roads

Hello !

Is there a way to tell X-Plane not to draw trees on roads ?

Except waiting for X-Plane 10 or adding more nodes for landuse in OpenStreetMap, is there a solution ?

Download Overlay Editor and use the tree exclusion tool under "Exclusions".

My scenery dsf is a 16 Mb file containing all the roads, railways and power lines. It has been generated with XPOSM for a complete 1x1 degree "tile".

I'll try it again, but I'm not sure the Overlay Editor will be the best tool for this.

Also use the Osm2XP tool, at least for adding the correct forest (if they are available in the Open Street Map data) and use the build-in forrest exclusion.
