OlaHaldor Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 I thought I'd go for bigger birds. And while I'm waiting for a quality addon with 3D cockpit, I'd give the best option I could find out there a go.x737 looks nice. Downloaded, installed, opened X-Plane, loaded the x737 plane. BANG! X-Plane crashed. So I moved all plug-ins out of the x-plane installation. Nope, still not working. I then moved all custom scenery.. No go!Anyone else have a clue what I could do? I'm on the latest, 9.70 Quote
UH-60 Blackhawk Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 Does the x737 have a fat plugin coming with it? Quote
UH-60 Blackhawk Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 Did you remove it with the other plugins? Quote
OlaHaldor Posted August 23, 2011 Author Report Posted August 23, 2011 It's part of the aircraft folder. I moved it, and it will let my load the plane, but I'm not really sure it's acting the way it should. I guess there's a reason for it to be there, right? Quote
UH-60 Blackhawk Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 Yeah, if it's not too big, try redownloading. It might've been an issue with the download of the plugin, because the plugin is the problem, but it won't work perfectly without it. Quote
OlaHaldor Posted August 24, 2011 Author Report Posted August 24, 2011 I can't download the plug-in as a standalone as far as I can see. It's all bundled in a single zip/rar file. Quote
UH-60 Blackhawk Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 I meant re-download the whole file, not just the plugin. Quote
OlaHaldor Posted September 6, 2011 Author Report Posted September 6, 2011 Re-downloading the plane does not help. Thinking about doing a clean re-install of it all. It's about time I guess. Quote
samen Posted September 8, 2011 Report Posted September 8, 2011 Hey Ola, Please post your Log.txt file. It could highlight what we are going for. Quote
FlightSimElectronics Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 You may want to try deleting all the files in your /Output/preferences folder. (Usually I just move the files temporarily to see if that fixes it. If it doesn't fix it, then move them back and you don't have to reconfigure all your settings). Quote
