Landing lights and cockpit at night

I was wondering if there is a way to reduce the amount of illumination from the landing lights/shining in the cockpit at night. As soon as you turn them on the cockpit lights up alot.

Inside plane maker you can set the ammount of energy the landing lights emit. There you can reduce them and also reduce the radious of th landing light cone, so it will affect less the cockpit.
