skipper63 Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 Hi,could the installer be altered in such a way, that it detects newer AIRACS versions installed than the ones it ships with and thus leaves them in place? It does not touch extra liveries, so that ought to be manageable?Same request for the pilot view plugin! I customized the settings to best suit my needs and after installing 1.1.1, I am back to the default settings.Thirdly, I can see through the left side of the pop up instruments. There is a gap of approx. 2 mm. That already occured to me in version 1.1.Is there a chance to have the plugin save the popup instrument positions that the user move them to? I am finding myself constantly moving popup windows around when I first start the CRJ.Performance limit and temperature in the FMC: When setting the outside temperature in the FMC on the perf. page, it seems that the values on the left are always 85%. Is that feature not implememnted yet and you just put in the 85% for all three thrust stages? I would think, that the N1 should be different values. The latter two questions are extras, but I did not want to open too many threads.CheersPeter Quote
Japo32 Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 the 85% is not full programmed. We will see in future if we can complete it.Pilot view plugin... you can save the 2 files limits and viewpoints generated by your new configuration. Just copy those 2 files, and then overwrite them in new installations.... better you do because maybe I change configuration, as I did from 1.0 to 1.1About Airacs and save popup positions.. that is something that has to be seen by Cameron (Airacs) and Philipp (popups). The 2mm gap.. yes it is there.. is a small issue that will corrected in future, but not big problem flying the plane for now. You can delete frame of displays so you won't see the gap (I preffer to fly without frames.. Of course frame in FMS has to be visible). Quote
skipper63 Posted June 9, 2011 Author Report Posted June 9, 2011 Ok, thanks for the answers!I tried to fly without frames around the popups, but somehow I don't like it. I tried to make the frames half as thick in photoshop but had to realise that the frames have to be in that exact pixel size in order for the displays to be correctly in the center. So I tried shaving have of the frame off and thought, that tga format might support translucency like png, but it does not. So, I am back to the big frames;-)So my suggestion for people who like the frames: Wouldn't have the thickness also make a nice frame? But that would have to be done by you to look right. I can live with copying the pilot view settings back after upgrading, but AIRACS and popup positions would really be nice! ;DWell, just did a couple of short flights again and she really flies like a charme, great work! Japo32 Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 Transparency inside TGA are inside Alpha channel. You can make a frame same size but thinner with trnasparency outside Quote
skipper63 Posted June 10, 2011 Author Report Posted June 10, 2011 Ok, I'll try with the alpha channel then, thanx! Quote
