CathayGuy Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 Hey Everyone,On Saturday I purchased the CRJ-200. I can't get the displays to turn on. I know you need to enter your location in the FMC etc. however nothing at all shows up on the displays. I have it so that my engines are running when I start up X-Plane so I don't know why this is happening. When I go to the overhead pannel to flip a switch if I click it, it doesn't move. If I drag it nothing happens either. Is my plane defective or am I just missing something?Thanks!-Jacob
Japo32 Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 Hello Jacobs.. yes you are missing read the sticky forums first.... (sorry to tell you this way but so many people don't do, and I want people first read the sticky forums because replying people the same issue one and another time we can become a little mad. There you can find:14. Plane loads correctly but it don't let me use the battery switch, or I don't see displays running when I load the plane with engines running This is because the plugin didn't install correctly. 99% times is because you made a bad install. The installer ask you for your MAIN x-plane folder instalation.. not the plane folder instalation. Please point installer to your MAIN x-plane folder installation. Thanks! The plugin is not working because I believe you installed the plane in airplanes directory.. and that is wrong. If you read carefully the installer when promp for a folder to install.. it ask you the MAIN folder you installed x-plane.So uninstall it and install again but this time pointing to the x-plane folder. not Airplane folder.thanks
