Question: Binding a pre-existing key (already in use)

 I bound the "Y" key for "Yaw Damper" If I'm not mistaken...The thing is, "Y" is bound in X-Plane 11 to "Yoke Visibility" or "Hide Yoke."

My question is, has that key binding been changed as a global setting or locally,  just in the Saab?

I stand to get shot down with the reply BUT I believe that each aircraft has its own joystick and button profile - you can set this in the joystick section. SO if Y is bound to yaw damper in the 340 profile it can be used for anything in different aircraft profiles.
