NAV Course slew direct

It would be nice if the entitled functionality was available , much like "heading sync", or "Vertical speed sync" or

even Airspeed sync" is already available in X-plane's autopilot functions .

Since I am new to X-plane plugin creation , I'm still going through the learning curve , to able to compile

this desired effect . The dataref is already mapped to the following :

sim/cockpit2/radios/indicators/nav1_bearing_deg_mag

so I plan to make it available as soon as I get it going . I will call the plugin " Direct-TO "

Basically , I want any available joystick button to automatically slew the course direct to

the chosen VOR , which is how the function works on many Transports , like the Cl-604 Challenger .

You're probably thinking , how lazy can one be , to complain about spinning the course knob ,

until it centers . ( I 'm just trying to add a little more realism to the panel )

Any insight from membership would be highly appreciated . Sandy B has been most helpful ,

but I don't want to bog him down , because I know he's really busy !
