compression

Would it be possible to make a general plugin where if an aircraft's mach number way .72 or so is plugged in then compressability would be simulated at that mach number for different altitudes? Or would that be something that would have to be written for only one aircraft?

Thanks for any info, I'm almost totally new here and would like my aircraft I'm making to have compressability and make diving more interesting.  Could someone help me make compressability? I can learn to help with it. Please?
