Cant change Trim

Hello,

today i wanted to take a Flight in the CRJ. But somehow i cant change the Trim settings. If i look closely i can the the Trim jumping a little bit up and down. When i try to change it it goes up to 4.2 or so and then jumps back to 4. It worked perfectly a few days ago.... hope you guys can help me

edit: after deleting my preference folder my trim jumps from 0 to all the way up. 

edit2: disregard it was a joystick issue. i solved it by disabling an axis on the stick. seems to be broken
