  1. This is a pretty big one. During a brief flight KEYW-MWCR, shortly after reaching T/D, I looked at the FMC to insert an arrival (GORAN3, VOR approach rwy 08). The FMC would not react in any way to any button I pushed (page selection, prev/next, keyboard). It was on the LEGS page at the time and showing direct TADPO, which I had selected straight after takeoff. I tried changing the map range and it switched to showing me almost on top of UCL, way past the south coast of Cuba and 15 minutes past TADPO. At the same time the FMC switched to the DEP/ARR page, which I had tried to select previously. Basically what I figured out was that the PFD, MFD, and FMC were all completely frozen, and only updated once I touched something on the MFD control panel. This could be the range, mode, brightness... anything that makes the little MFD pop up in the bottom left hand corner of the screen would update the PDF, MFD, and FMC. All the background processes were working though: the aircraft followed the route, descended at the correct point, decelerated at 10,000 feet, etc. I was able to input an arrival by pressing one key at a time and updating the FMC by changing the map range every time. At some point I noticed that if I kept holding the range selector (or brightness selector or any other MFD control) with the cursor to keep the popup map up, that would actually move and show everything properly. Basically I used a combination of standby instruments (as the PFD was also frozen), VOR DME and a visual approach to land at MWCR. I'm on mac, so it can't be anything to do with that Windows Defender problem. After closing x-plane I checked the log.txt, and beginning at around 48 minutes into the session (the flight took 58 minutes, so the whole session was probably around an hour and a half as I spent some time on the ground at KEYW before taking off) there are a few hundred lines of 'no such error' readouts produced by the JAR Design ground handling plugin. These continue until the end of the session. There is nothing else in the log.txt after the first 'no such error' message appears except for hundreds of lines of the same thing. This was fine due to the short nature of the flight, but I can predict that on longer flights such a freeze of the PFD, MFD, and FMC would make continuing the flight very difficult. If this was somehow caused by ground handling, that's a pretty big deal, as its highly likely that people using the 733 also have that plugin installed.
  2. Hello to everyone. May be this topic could merge several problems which might occur during a flight preparation. From my side I'd like to point out following problem. When I choose arrival procedure at ENGM I am facing every time a little problem. My actions: press DEP/ARR buttoh; chose arrival runway and approach type on the right side of a menu; choose STAR on the left side; choose transition point. Result: the STAR procedure is automatically erased from the route. The abscence of STAR can be visible on a map using a LEGS menu. Solution: I have to choose arrival runway and approach type on the right side of DEP/ARR menu once again. Then STAR procedure automatically appears (despite I do not choose STAR second time). I am afraid it could be a bug in such a particular case for all STARs of ENGM. By the way I have not checked another possibilities: probably a STAR is deleted after coosing of a transition. May be it is not necessary there to choose a transition point...
  3. The 737's popup/flyout menu stopped sliding outside the screen/hiding for me. This started today, worked fine last week when I last used the aircraft. Nothing in the logs that indicates an error or warning, gizmo console is also clear.
  4. Hello this is a great product. Something that I am missing is the 1,000 ft to level chime before the plane reaches the selected altitude. Cheers!
  5. Hi, I have dosens of liveries and some where not seen as icons so I regenerated them....now I can see no icon at all (?) In the livery folder they are black. Just redone
  6. Hi, I just installed a fresh copy of Ixeg 737 v1.21 but getting an issue as below. Regards,
  7. Hey, I have a few questions I haven't really bothered to check up on for quite a while. But I did a few flights today and thought I might inquire a bit. My first question is about the auto throttle. When I'm on final the letter B usually appears next to the speed readout for my auto throttle, disallowing me to set the speed any lower than than around 190 kt. It usually goes away again right before touchdown, but this will often cause me to come in too fast Do you have any idea why this restriction is there and what I can do about it? I know that the throttle is usually controlled manually during final, but that doesn't work too well for me since I don't have a throttle lever on my joystick to control speed, so I prefer to use the auto throttle until right before I hit the ground. Second question is related, and is about the calculated FMC speed. If I set the configuration for flaps full in the FMC it will usually give me a landing speed way lower than what I'm used to with the airbus. Maybe around 115 kt. If I actually try to fly in with such low speeds the airplane usually crashes in front of the runway. So I will often aim at a landing speed at around 135 kt, which seems to work better, in spite of being to opposite of what I'm being instructed to do. But what am I doing wrong here? A final question is unrelated, but I prefer to fly at dusk/dawn or night and the lighting in the cockpit isn't terribly believable under these circumstances. For instance if I'm flying away from a setting sun, it seems to light up my cockpit through the back wall, leaving it way too bright, until the sun disappears behind the horizon, when it goes completely dark, almost in an instance. Is there any plan for fixing this, or a custom fix? And if not, is there any payware out there with great cockpit lighting effect for dusk/dawn/night flying? Thank you so much in advance if anyone responds!
  8. Hi, herewith to report an issue I've run into while flying my KJFK-KIAD leg on VATSIM. The controller gave me a constraint over a waypoint I wasn't able to find in the flightplan, with the Arrival-Transition-Approach already selected in the FMC. After I've found that the HYPER SEVEN arrival at KIAD is not correctly read by the FMC as some published waypoints (which were relevant to the above ATC instructions) are actually missing. From point DELRO a straight line to COVUR is drawn for the ILS Rwy19C approach, while the fixes LIRCH, BINNS and HYPER are left out from the star depiction. My flightplan: KJFK KENNEDY FOUR RBV.HYPER SEVEN ILS RWY19C KIAD - FL240 Using Aerosoft NavDataPro cycle 1802. IXEG_FMS_debug.txt Thanks for your attention. Cris
  9. Hello I have been following a video tutorial regarding the ILS procedure. At the correct altitude when turning to line up, runway heading set twice. ILS freq set twice. Speed at 160, APP engaged, CMD B engaged... But aircraft remains at the last set altitude/heading. Does not acquire the ILS. Thanks for your help in advance Mark Harris ESA1178
  10. Hi, It seems like I'm having a similar issue to another member on here with the "ILS not working" so to speak. I'm flying from KFSM to KFYV via FSM and the LDA/DME 34 (attached). The issue that I seem to have is capturing the LOC from an LNAV state. Yes, the freq and course are correct. The airplane captures the "final approach course" in LNAV but never actually captures the LOC (both LOC and GS are armed, white). I have uploaded the approach procedure and two screenshots. The first screenshot shows the aircraft on the 006 radial from FSM heading towards the intercept with APP mode selected. The second picture shows the aircraft on "course" but without the LOC being captured. I'm just trying to figure out if this is IXEG specific issue/bug or true to life (which I don't think). The IXEG will not descent on the G/S in LNAV, either. I have replicated this exact flight and configuration with the FF B767 and it does capture the LOC and GS from LNAV. Thanks for any help or clarification. 00728LDAD34.PDF
  11. Hi Jan and IXEG team, Recently I tried to enter a destination which is far away from the origin airport and the distance bewteen is beyond the maximum range of 733.(I know it's very silly) The CDU did find out that it could not fly that distance but returned "NOT IN DATABASE" which puzzles me because usually this warning means some naviads don't exist in the database. Wondering if the real CDU in the 733 shows the same message. I tried the ORIGIN ZSSS and DEST KJFK (or any ORIGIN and DEST having a distance greater than 2,270 nm, Range fully loaded according to 733C wiki) Also a short video about the entry. Please unzip it with 7z since the video takes surprisingly 193MB @1920*1080 unzipped. B733_1.7z Many thanks, Shane
  12. Hello, I really like flying the IXEG. But I have a question about the trim in cruising. When I fly on FL370, I have always raised the nose of the aircraft 5 °. I presumably have an immensely high fuel mileage. (600nm 9.5 to fuel) In the external view, the plane (the windows) is never straight, but always tilted backwards. Flaps are all retracted, Airbrakes are retracted and I fly over the FMC. Do I have to possibly something in the FMC enter something? But my display shows CRZ mode after CLB mode. Or is it something completely different? Thank you in advance for your answers! Manuel
  13. In some flight operation manuals it says: the fire warning lights do not illuminate during the panel light test (Not fire/overheat test). In the IXEG they do. Does it vary between different types of classics? (sorry if it is a double report)
  14. First of all, thanks for the 1.21 update - so far no problems, everything works well and I think I finally got rid of the microstutters.... Something completely minor - but I´ve been loving the sound of the engines when I opened the windows in cockpit. With the update, I get the outside athmosphere sounds, but the engines are the same as when I have my windows closed. Is there a way to change it to the more realistic behaviour from before? Warm regards Art
  15. I have just noticed this behaviour in 1.0.4 so not sure if it was happening in older versions. I have the rudders assigned to an axis and the tiller assigned to a separate axis. If I use the tiller and apply max deflection I can then increase this further my deflecting the rudder pedals at the same time. If you look at the tiller handle it moves past the marks and also the nose wheel moves past the 90 degree deflection. Not sure if this the correct behaviour? Many Thanks for the continued updates. Tony
  16. Landing on SASA the radio signal ILS (110.3) was not picked up. Log.txt plane.txt
  17. I fixed this issue a while back. I installed tugmaster which uses the python software that causes the aircraft to shake. After deleting the shaking goes away. I now installed better pushback which started an issue with IXEG 737 again. This plane does not like pushback programs. During engine start the EGT and N2 do not indicate values and does affect the aircraft power. When I remove BPB it works fine again. It seems like these problems are specific to me for some reason because when I search online I don't see anyone experiences these issues. How do I get these programs to work with each other. Actually I removed BPB but still happens.
  18. For the IXEG 737 FMC it says it is using a VERY old outdated AIRAC. IS there anyway to update this with navigraph
  19. Hello, just updated to the 1.21. Setting turn around at startup i've notice that the apu selector is ON but actually it is not running as suppose to be. Leading the IRS and all systems to be on battery. Please could you confirm that? XP11.11 on Windows 10
  20. Hello everyone! I´m not sure if it is a bug but I can´t rotate the Auto-Brake rotary.in version 1.21. It is stuck in RTO all the time and I can not move it with my mouse. Is there another way to move it that I´m not aware of with the upgraded version 1.21 so I am doing it all wrong?
  21. So this is a dumb question, but how do you actually tell how far you are from your destination airport?
  22. Hi, Just installed to version 1.21. Sadly during loading X-Plane crashes. See log. Also noticed that an IXEG_Hotfix.zip was placed into the XP11 main folder with the update. Does it need to be opened/extracted? I looked into it and found a bunch of Lua sripts inside that zip file. Or should it remain as is in the XP11 main folder? Appreciate your help! Thank you, Werner
  23. Hi there, i don´t know if this is only on my machine, but i don´t have LED´s on the gauges before 15:00 o´clock on my flights today. i think it depends on the light, not the time, but in my case it was 15:00 In the video i accelerate the time forward and backwards to show you what i mean.
  24. I've just done a quick flight from KPHX to KSAN in order to test the latest 1.2.1 update and I've noticed something in the FMC. https://imgur.com/FNwgO8d For some reason, there is a discrepancy with the fuel quantity on the previos wpt and the next wpt. It clearly shows a double amount of fuel for some reason. There also a misalignment with the fuel quantity in the previous wpt as it is a bit to the right.
  25. According to the FMS , on the take off page, the speed calculation is related to a flaps 5 setting only. This value can not be changed as you type 10 or 15 on the first LSK. Is it like in the real airplane ? I thought it should be possible to calculate the V speeds with flaps 10 or 15 ... Can we expect improvements in a future update ?
