  1. Blue Sky Star is one of my favorite developers. X-Plane 10 is really coming to life this year. I'm so excited about the new sound pack coming for the CRJ-200. This add-on alone is going to bring more new users over to XPX and the CRJ-200. Fantastic job Blue Sky Star! I hope release is not to far away.
  2. Hello. Some of you may have already used my application iGoDispatch. In late March, I will be releasing an iPad application iGoDispatch for CRJ-200. This application will have additional functionalities, some of which include, just to name a few: Loading passengers, cargo, and fuel directly from the application using the TCP connection; Tracking the flight on a map and monitoring the main flight parameters; Ability to create a more precise flight plan using VORs, NDBs, Fixes (the application uses the default X-Plane navdata); Monitoring your flight performance against 20 various criteria and generating flight performance reports; Changing the Centre of Gravity dynamically during the flight based on the fuel weight. I hope you are going to enjoy it! Igor
  3. My thrust levers in the CH throttle quadrant are doing nothing in the CRJ200. They are showing up fine in the calibration program in x-plane, and the switches on the unit are working, but the thrust levers just aren't moving the thrust handles in the aircraft at all. Am I missing something elementary in the setup of the aircraft? Anybody else have this problem? -Ed

  5. Hello everyone. Glad to report that a new CRJ-200 flight planning application can be downloaded here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/files/file/634-igodispatch-jrollon-crj-200/ Please note that this is a beta version. I am still trying to fine-tune the fuel calculations. If you notice a big difference (say, beyond the 10% margin of error) between what has been calculated and what was the actual number, please PM me your distance, weather, take-off weight, climb profile, cruise speed, burn fuel estimate, and burn fuel actual. It is Windows only for now but I do plan to make it work on other platforms. Please refer to the Manual included in the zip file for the proper installation procedures! Many thanks to the developers of this wonderful plane!

File Name: JRollon CRJ-200 Virtual Dispatch File Submitter: igorland File Submitted: 24 Jan 2013 File Category: Plugins and Utilities The JRollon CRJ-200 Virtual Dispatch calculates various values required for your flight plan (distance between airports, fuel amount, weights, CG, V speeds, pitch trim, etc.). 11. I just purchased CRJ-200 and when trying to install it, one of the first things it asks for is the email address I used when registering on the site. No matter what I type in the box, a warning window tells me "You need to specify a value". I'm using Windows 8 and X-Plane 10. Any suggestions? My first purchase from this company, so perhaps my error. Thanks!
  12. I am using CRJ-200 version 1.40 from Rollon, with X-plane 9, MAC version. I am encountering the following problem: the MFD will not display the map correctly. In spite of the fact that the navigation system manages to intercept and follow a route, the route legs will not appear on the MFD in the "live" mode. Besides, the PFD displays an odd sequence of legs, with wrong mileage. In the example in the screen shot, I have just taken off from KBOS (Boston Logan), with a route to CYUL (montreal). I have intercepted the route right away and the FD is now following it, but the PFD displays my next waypoint as KBOS with a wrong mileage, the MFD does not display the route on the compass and has also an odd sequence of legs (CYUL repeated twice-mileage is wrong) on the side display. Any ideas? Thank you!
  13. Hello, all, Thanks for everyone's patience as we sorted out plug-in conflict issues! This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 1.2 update for the Take Command! CRJ-200. All customers who have purchased the CRJ-200 up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete installation instructions on how to update your product. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase the CRJ-200 from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 1.2 for you. What if I didn't get the update e-mail? If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do: 1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviati...talog/login.php 2. View your past order history invoice that contains the CRJ-200 purchase on it. 3. At the bottom of the invoice you will find a blue highlighted link to your update! The new installer will detect whether this is a new install, or if you already have any CRJ-200 version installed. Depending on your current situation, the installer will run through the appropriate paths with you, including uninstalling all unnecessary items from the previous version! There are some important fixes and requests implemented in this update. The following is a list of additions/fixes included: * Added sounds from Turbine Sound Studios to the CRJ200. * Added custom sounds (introduction to sound plugin. More to come in future updates) * Corrected Navigation Display projection to work with legs crossing the 180 meridian * Corrected insertion of missed approach waypoints, fixing a potential issue when the missed approach and the approach transition contain the same waypoint * Corrected calculation of remaining distance to not include missed approach * Fixed crash when selecting a new SID without re-selecting runway * Corrected insertion of RNAV approach transitions that do not depend on STARs * Corrected APU fuel consumption (didn't use any fuel before) and inhibit APU start when fuel in feeder tank is insufficient. * Small fixes to improve stability, fixed some issues that could cause X-Plane to freeze * MAC only: transition to a new compiler and SDK, improving overall fluidity by better optimizations. These optimizations require at least OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard to work. As always, thanks for being a customer with X-Aviation. We appreciate your feedback and support! Enjoy these latest updates, and stay tuned to the forum as we continually announce the latest happenings.
