HEY! FSXP is excited to announce that we'll be starting a new project, slated for release in 2014! Hiroshi, the modeller of our 787 and 767 exteriors has created another family of planes and wants the planes to be available in x-plane too! The series is being dubbed the 737NG Basic, and will be built over the next six months. No comment yet on whether a 3d cockpit or cabin will be added. The Basic dub means that it won't feature a lot of advanced tech like plugin control or 3d cockpit, it's designed more for simple flying and nice visuals. The project will also feature full livery compatability forward and backwards, meaning any textures from FSX for this plane can be directly copied in to the .png format and vice versa. The project will be developed alongside the 787 and will share the same animation techniques used on the 787. The project is expected to contain between 30 and 40 planes, ranging from the 600 to the MAX series jets. Other features for the planes will include: -Three types of winglets -eyebrows or no eyebrows -air stairs -ground services, including refueling trucks, GPU and a push back -quality 3d models -accurate flight model (no plugin control though) -2d panel (no comment on 3d panel)

Specifically, the PW4090 version. Details are in the included README. Unfortunately there is currently no way to get the loud howl from behind the engines at idle, but the sound files are included anyway. Also, a sidenote, the PW4090 variant is the only version from the -112 family that doesn't have the low frequency "boop" when you advance the throttles. Please enjoy these new sounds. Following our agreement regarding his works, I have permission to upload this file, so long as he is credited. Nothing in this paintkit has been modified from the original, so much of the stuff is still in the FSX format, except all the .psds and the full-length PSD Features: Full PSD with multi-layer settings for painting with ease includes dirt lines, rivets and fine details blank models of every single 767-200/200ER uploaded here Engine and wing .psd files for those who want to edit those PLEASE NOTE, THE FUSELAGE LANDING LIGHT SPLASHES ARE A DIFFERENT SIZE IN X-PLANE THAN THEY ARE IN fsx, SO DON'T USE THE PROVIDED LIT MAPS INSIDE THE PAINTKIT, INSTEAD, USE THE WHITE SET OF LIT MAPS PROVIDED IN THE ORIGINAL FILE DOWNLOAD. I'm pleased to announce our new project the Virtavia Westland Sea King helicopter by Dawson Designs. This is a conversion from FSX and builds extensively on the original with many new and improved areas, increased functionality, high quality realistic sounds and many parts built from scratch. It will be released in the early part of the new year for X-Plane 10 on Windows, Mac and Linux with 64bit compatibility. It will have around 20 liveries and several different variants. In developing this version I've read reviews of the FSX version and improved upon those areas that were criticised, for example the main rotor and tail rotor are brand new and include lightweight Carson blades, the landing gear has been re-modelled, and there's a brand new winch, along with with much more. There's a full 3D cockpit with every needle built from scratch. The FSX version only has flat 2D textures so all the gauges have had to be extensively worked on, the HSI and horizon gauges are also brand new.
