  3. Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know, we have a little network of facebook groups called XP-aviators, X-plane Developers and XPA lounge, feel free to join in, We've got some devs who regularly post progress info there, including Felis and Elanport! https://www.facebook.com/groups/FlightTraining/ X-plane Aviators https://www.facebook.com/groups/XPALounge/ X-plane Aviators Lounge https://www.facebook.com/groups/XPDevelopers/ XPS developers
  4. Just curious, because up till now I've not really bothered with it. Today I've turned it on but it still seems to make my MFD's (and the display on the FMC) just go dark regardless of the plane I'm flying ... I'm running XP 10.20 (stable). In case it's an issue with my card, I've got AMD Radeon 7800 series card and running the latest Catalyst 13.1 drivers (stable). I've tried searching on this but the HDR thing doesn't appear to be current anymore ... any input/ideas greatly appreciated! The Edit ... probably should've reworded the subject as "Is HDR rendering in XP still an issue for some?"

Hello, Here is my second new airport: MMML - General Rodolfo Sánchez Taboada International Airport - Mexicali, Mexico. The inspiration to make this came from a tv documentary that I saw 'The Plane Crash' where they used the airport as a base from which to see what happens to people in a survivable crash. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_Boeing_727_crash_experiment http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-plane-crash/4od This is my first attempt at making some 3d models for terminal and other buildings which I have a good idea what they look like. There were few pictures of the 'air side' buildings so they may not be perfect. While the airport is much smaller than the much larger KEWR that I did on my first attempt at scenery, this gave me the opportunity to use and develop the skills I learned on that project and try and really impove the quality and end up with a small but interesting and detailed airport that should be fun to fly from. Nice location to learn to fly in the stable desert weather. Excellent location to crash your old used 727's. Buildings modeled include: Main terminal Small terminal Fire station Tower Aerococina Aeromexpress Volaris / Mexicana 3 Hangers This scenery also includes orthophotos for the airport. I'd try to blend them in more to the default but the desert in x-plane is the wrong colour at the moment. Orthophotos are courtesy of the U.S. Geological Survey. The USGS home page is http://www.usgs.gov To operate correctly OpensceneryX must be installed. I also highly recommend that you use Chris K's Wide Taxiway Markings and FlyJSims Enhanced HD Runways both of which this scenery was designed to work with. I hope you enjoy using this and look forward to hearing your feedback and suggestions! Andy

  10. Hello, all, This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 1.4.2 update for the Take Command! CRJ-200. All customers who have purchased the CRJ-200 up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete installation instructions on how to update your product. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase the CRJ-200 from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 1.4.2 for you. What if I didn't get the update e-mail? If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do: 1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviati...talog/login.php 2. View your past order history invoice that contains the CRJ-200 purchase on it. 3. At the bottom of the invoice you will find a blue highlighted link to your update that says: "Take Command!: CRJ-200". The new installer will detect whether this is a new install, or if you already have any CRJ-200 version installed. Depending on your current situation, the installer will run through the appropriate paths with you, including uninstalling all unnecessary items from the previous version! Your liveries/downloaded paints will be safe in this process! There are some important fixes and requests implemented in this update. The following is a list of additions/fixes included: [bUGS] -Fixed the crash on loading a SID or STAR when magnetic information was not loaded because of a long absolute path -Warn of incomplete navdata installations -Enhanced recalculation of Dme-intercept waypoints -Fixed pagination issue when selecting an approach transition -Fixed a problem displaying DMEs on the WPT Sel page -Fixed recalculation of remaining distance to destination -Enhanced compatibility with some third-party plugins such as FSAirline manager and Airport navigator As always, thanks for being a customer with X-Aviation. We appreciate your feedback and support! Enjoy these latest updates, and stay tuned to the forum as we continually announce the latest happenings.
