  1. eMko: I fly only liners (modern liners), so no, I didn't try the DC-3, but we are talking here their first model, look what they did with the SAAB, it's absolutely astonishing, look at PMDG first plane, B1900 do you think it was a perfect replica, no, absolutely not, but look at their products now, look at LES Cessna, it will be a first day buy because I know that when I'll put my hands on Cessna 550 FCOM (if I come across one) and I will try it on LES plane it will be spot on, this is what I like to fly, this is what I need for my satisfaction, not a simple model with a great livery and wing flex, everybody is talking about wing flex, if it doesn't have wing flex it's not good!

Do you think real pilots care about wing flex, do you think real pilots care about their plane paint job?

Do you see the captain coming to your seat and watch his wing flex and if it doesn't flex his teling his copilot "Hey, rock this plane mate so I can see the wing flex, that's my boy, Oh look at this wing flex mate, oh it's beautiful" :)

Well, real pilots really care about their plane working by the book, so am I, I want my simulated plane to work by the book!!

Every developer has it's first try on a simulator, than it will perfect his code, his graphics, the level of simulation.

Don't judge developers from their first product, judge them on their 2nd or 3rd one!!!

This is flight SIMULATION. We can make the experience what we want it to be. I got into flight simulation because I enjoy the entire experience of flight. I like to watch the aircraft from the exterior as it hauls through the sky. I like sitting in the cabin of the payware Challenger 300 and listen to the music and pretend I'm rich. I like replaying my landings and watching the aircraft flare because I think it's most beautiful.when landing. Just because you like to operate aircraft according to real world procedures doesn't reduce the experience of any other flight simmer.

  2. In the end I believe many are sceptic to PMDG, so we just need to see what kind of quality they finally deliver and if I know PMDG as good as I think I do, will see a release in about 4-5 years..

If PMDG takes that long to release their 737NG, they'll be left in the dust by current XP developers. I can see Flight Factor or FlyJSim making a 737NG well within that time period.

  3. You might be surprised.

PMDG are the most successful developers in FSX because of their attention to detail in aircraft systems.

I meant we won't get eye candy with no system depth from PMDG. Sorry, I should've been a bit more specific. I'm looking forward to PMDG; especially a decent 747-400 from them. Honestly though, I'd like a 747-200 more from FlyJSim. I've noticed one thing though, the qulaity of their textures is almost the same as FlyJSim.
  4. I have to agree that right now, it's not worth the purchase price. When I first purchased the A380, it was the Korean Air model. Now I know a lot of people say that it's now worth spending money for different liveries, but Peter Hager gave each model the real world specifications. Also, when you purchase the package, each new A380 model he releases is free. So I purchased the Korean Air model, paid the $15 to get all the other models, and have received each new model as it's released. I'd say it's a pretty good deal IF you purchased the model when it was near the time of it's initial release. :)

  5. It's a big deal because they are revered throughout the FSX community.  Some developers feel threatened by them, but the fact is, if they continue to bring people from FSX to X-Plane, it will grow OUR community very quickly.  For developers who feel threatened, they have to think about the potential customers PMDG brings.  As well as any NEW customers Laminar gets from X-Plane sales, which only serves to motivate Laminar to push forward with X-Plane 11, 12 and however more versions they can come out with.  This is a very positive step for X-Plane, any way you look at it.

I don't know. With a sudden influx of new users from FSX, that could also be a bad thing as well. FSX has 3 different payware versions of the Boeing 757-200, while X-Plane only has one, and it's better than all 3 combined. What I'm getting to is that with new customers, they'll be bringing that "we want something easy" attitude over from FSX. We'll also be getting tons of eye candy with no real system depth. Just look at the ATR72-500. McPhat Studios isn't lying with their slogan; Eye Candy Simmin'. I know we won't get this from PMDG, but we're definitely gonna get it if other developers from FSX come over.

  6. I just wish Jar Design would make an Airbus A380-800. I would never fly another aircraft again. Just imagine how nice it would be; transparent windows (a big plus for me), a FULLY modeled passenger cabin, high quality textures, amazing systems, awesome sounds, and WINGFLEX. That would be one amazing A380.

  7. If you want to set up views, turn the number lock on, then go to the view that you want to pre-set, the hold down the shift button, and then press the number on the number pad that you want to set the view to. I hope this helps. :)

  8. much better than that ***** 747 classic at the org store.

Well you really have to consider how long ago that was made. To expect them to make something at that time on the same level as this 747 is like asking the Wright brothers to make an A350.

  9. Honestly, I wish he'd allow us to turn them on and off when we get ready. I feel that's it's so unrealistic to have the cabin lights on full blast at night during the ENTIRE flight. I asked him how we could turn them off, and he said they work automatically. I would LOVE to fly it at night, but I just can't get past the cabin lights being on all the time. :(

  10. Comparing FF's relationship with Boeing to PMDG's is a bit of a stretch.

I'm not comparing. I'm just saying that everyone thought that Flight Factor was going to be strictly Boeing after the 777 and 757, then they turned around and surprised us with previews of their upcoming Airbus A350.

  11. Luca annoyingly asked about the sounds of the 787, and progress several times. He said way more than wishing Michael the best of luck, I can't stand how immature you are to the community as well and how you carry yourself. In actuality you are beyond far from it, being banned from well known community due to your immaturity doesn't do justice to your statement.

I've seen users asked many times about developer's progress but they still managed to shut up, Luca here proved to himself that he is way to young to be in this community due to his inability to stop asking when it is quite obvious that he wont get anything out of it from being denied. Its okay to use vulgarity to strengthen your point, because they still cant get with the fact that they won't be shown more previews.

if you really want to be taken seriously, you should resort to reading the comments carefully and consider what you're saying, please don't make yourself a fool to the internet.

And yes, shut the "fuck" up too.

It's absolutely hilarious listening to you and Michael tell people to shut the F up all from the safety of your computers. I'm quite adamant you're only doing this because I don't know where you live, and I don't attend your school. You two arrogant, pretentious, self-righteous douche bags can keep throwing verbal barbs all from the safety of your computers. It's no wonder you two do so well in X-Plane Aviators. You two are pompous asses.

  12. literally shut the fuck up.

    ^ I still stand by that ^

I don't understand why you are so thick-skulled. If I say I won't reveal anything, I won't reveal anything. Why can't you just be patient and wait like everyone else? YES the plane will be released, when? Maybe tomorrow, Maybe Christmas of 2016. STOP ASKING.

He didn't ASK anything you pretentious douche. All he is saying is that he hopes you continue to keep up the good work because the more previews you release, the more excited the community becomes for the release of the aircraft. I can't stand how you think you're so professional with how you carry yourself. In actuality, you're FAR from it. I've seen users ask payware developers HUNDREDS of times when something will be released, yet the developers have NEVER resulted to vulgarity. If you wanna be taken seriously, you shoildnt ever speak with people that way. HOLY CRAP. What is your freaking problem? You think you can talk to people how ever you want to since you live a sheltered life, but wait until you get into the real world.
