    I did not have this kind of issue. What I do usually is to descend to the IAF altitude at 2-3 nm short before. Then, in flight level and reducing the throttles, the speed will gently get down below 175 kts. I set flaps 5 before I am established on the ILS. On the glide, 6-8 nm before the threshold, I deploy the gear and when the speed slows down below 140 kts, I set flaps 20. Then, you should maintain a speed around 120 kts, with a torque about 40% (condition levers in TO position : it helps to decrease the speed of course). When the autopilot is disconnected, I have to trim up the plane and it's often necessary to advance the throttles a little bit.  When training on a circuit, I set gear and flaps 5 in rear wind and below 145 kts, I set flaps 20 to get a speed of around 120 kts when entering the base and descend. On the flare, speed decreases quite quickly. So, I reduce the throttles very slowly to idle after passing the threshold, or the plane would fall down in a hard landing.

  2. Edit : to get a more accurate fuel consumption planning, I suggest to set the fuel factor to P30 in Siembrief (this modification has to be done by users for each flight unfortunately).

    For example, for a flight from LGSR (Santorini) to LGSK (Skiathos), Siembrief calculates : taxi + trip = 1h 10 mn and 691 lbs (with a fuel factor of P30). My effective duration flight (taxi included) was 1 hr 7 mn with a fuel consumption of 653 lbs.

    The TOGAMSIM aircraft has perfomances pretty close to those I could get from the POH. For example, at 18 000 ft with an average ISA+12° (calculated by Siembrief for this trip, coherent with the outside air tempetarure of about -10° observed in the plane at this altitude : I'm using FS Global Weather), I got :

    Torque : 70 ; Fuel flow per engine : 255 ; CAS : 205 ; Ground speed : 270 (with an average headwind of 7 kts).

    From the POH tables, at ISA+10° and for a total weight of 10 500 lbs, the figures are :

    Torque : 76 ; FF/E : 288 ; CAS : 212 ; TAS : 282

    Curiously, the POH indicates an IOAT of -3° at 18 000 ft (instead of -10). I know that the temperature is decreasing by 2°/1000 ft only below 10 000 ft, but it cannot explain such a difference. The calibration gauge maybe, different in the real aircraft ?

    A part of the differences may also comes from the RPM settings: I flew at 98 RPM (as far as we may catch it from the gauge), as the POH recommends a 96 RPM.

    I also noticed that in hot weather conditions (as those that we have in Europe at this moment), is's not interesting to fly above 19000 ft (on high routes) for 1 or 2 hours trips: the climb performances  are poorer and the time of climb is much too high, without much gain in terms of speed or fuel consumption.

    But from my experience with you guys, it will only take a short time, and the plane will keep getting better :)

  4. Hello Tom,

    To map this knob to the Bravo, you need a separate variable for "increase" and "decrease". When in VLOC mode, the command "sim/radios/... up and down" allows me to change the course of a VOR in the HSI. But in GPS, the knob doesn't rotate to tune the CRS of the HSI according the course of the GPS, I have to do it manually. I tried to use the "nav1_obs_degm", but it doesn't work : a messager of the Honeycomb Configurator indicates that I have not the good value for this variable and so will ignore it. That's why I thought that I need a value to use this dataref through the configurator, allowing the rotary knob the Bravo to animate the knob of the HSI when in GPS mode.

  5. Hello again,

    the command pitch_trim_wheel_nose has no effect on the attitude of the aircraft (same if using the mouse). So, the VS mode of the autopilot is still inoperative. Mapping this command, the autopilot pitch wheel is rolling, but the aircraft does not pitch up or down. Maybe I'm still doing anything wrong...

  6. Sorry, but after reading, I don't understand which command must be mapped to move the pitch wheel of the autopilot. Do I have to bind the 2 buttons on my yoke, button A with the command "sim... pitch_trim up... down" and the button B to the command "xscenery... pitch_wheel_nose up and down" ?

    I tried to map the new command for the autopilot nose wheel pitch on my Honeycomb Bravo, but it does not work. Before, I used the same command as the pitch command on the yoke : unfortunately, it does not work anymore.

    Does anyone has solved this issue ?

  8. Here is my Simbrief profile for the Moo. The profile is based from the Kingair BE20. The weights are accurate. Nevertheless, the fuel calculation is necessarily approximate, because you cannot create a profile from scratch in Siembrief. The fuel consumption should be less than 250 pounds per engine and per hour, so around 450-500 pounds per hour. Of course without reserve, alternate and winds calculations. I will check this on my next flights and maybe update the profile using the P000 option.

    Payload : 9 passengers, 85kg each (187 pounds), 55 pounds for the luggage.

    The equipments of the aircraft are very basic. I use the model with GPS. I did not fill the PBN field (the Kingair BE20 has not).
