  1. So Boeing doesn't like to use 'managed mode ' for vertical guidance ? Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  2. Yeah I agree, it was just for a tad more immersiveness CMB Sent from Tapatalk
  3. Yes I do I have the 8 gab version CMB Sent from Tapatalk
  4. What about i7 6700hq and gtx980m with a Vram of 8Gb. Is a gtx980m équivalent to a Gtx 960? CMB Sent from Tapatalk
  5. @Jan I have a request: When you will be recording the final approach and landing, could you perform an autoland this time, I would like to see how smooth the flare is ? In real life the autoland performs a kiss landing but others developers seems to mess the autoland, it flares too late and we have a hard landing. Another request: Re do the autoland but let's say at 500 Fts AGL, engage toga: I want to see the STS ( speed trim system) entiring in action and see the lateral and vertical mode to switch from LOc and Gs to LNAV and VnAV( I think that in case of a Go Around, the lateral and vertical mode switched back to the managed mode if you know what I mean ( LVAV and VNAV). I hope I didn't ask too much CMB Sent from Tapatalk
  6. Are you sure for the NG? The A320 family can perform RNP0.1 approach. I think that only difference of 0.1 and 0.3 is the database and you have to obtain an authorization from EASA? CMB Sent from Tapatalk
  7. Then it will hard to believe that the team had missed that detail but mistake can happen even to the best CMB Sent from Tapatalk
  8. Hard to tell. Not the same point of view and FOV CMB Sent from Tapatalk
  9. Very nice, this is truly a state of the art. It looks like a level D sim software wise ( without the hardware) CMB Sent from Tapatalk
  10. Fair enough. Maybe an option for the futur xP Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  11. Hi guys. After rewatching Tom's FMC video I notice something: It seems that there is pretty much no latency between pressing LSR X ( or whatever it's called) and the execution of the FMC. What I mean is that in IXEG ( based on Toms video) when you enter EDDF and enter it in the FMC by pressing the LSR 1 key, it is done in 0.05 sec whereas in a sim it takes like 0..3-0.4 s more than IXEG, this is what you can expect with late 80's hardware. @4:20 http://youtu.be/yBKkUoFvn-g. Not a big deal, more an eye candy thing. I was wondering if the latency will be added after v1.0 CMB Sent from Tapatalk
  12. Fine by me, I still have Squad, Rainbow 6 siege to play in the meanwhile. I might buy the ff 767 to fly in the meanwhile... CMB Sent from Tapatalk
  13. So the classic is not certified to land on RNAV0.3 approaches ? Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  14. Sorry i Heard that though especially with the jar design A320/330, it can't display the weather return up to 20/40 NM CMB Sent from Tapatalk
  15. I Heard that Xplane default WRX can only be displayed on the capt side as you said but also only up to 20NM. Did you guys manage to display returns further than 20 NM ? CMB Sent from Tapatalk
  16. Nice, I hope you guys have been able to find the best sensitivity for the saitek yoke and rudder. Is it possible to know which joystick/yoke you guys have tested ? Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  17. Thanks Fair enough for the v1.0 features. The offset feature is nice for avoiding cells storm without leaving LNAV mode. Just put your offset value and for more automation enter also the enter and exit WPT. Well that's what I do for the B777 and b737 from pmdg, don't know if it's recommended to do so. RTA, I agree, I don't even know how it fully work. However, for wind prediction, I mean if we can enter wind prediction for more accurate optimal crz alt, ETA, estimated FOB.... I'm not planning to do a single holding, so I don't very care if you don't take in account the wind lol Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  18. Why so much pessimism ? Anyway they will release it when they feel it's ready CMB Sent from Tapatalk
  19. Thanks, i get it now. Yes i think i get it now, so lets recap: * When speed trim system is not active: You gave to trim manually to the target speed. * when speed trim system is active: You can manually trim to the target speed, if you are a little bit off then the trim speed system will make small correction for you. You can either just briefly tap the trim switch so that the trim speed system register the new trim speed and then trim automatically to the target speed. Of course the second choice is not ideal in real life.bbut as many of us doesn't have a force feedback, trimming the correct amount will be hard. Hopefully that speed trim feature will be useful as for example for accelerating from V2+20 to 250 kts, I'll trim down for 1-2s every 5 second. When reaching 230kts, I'll stop trimming and when 250kts is reached I'll just tap the trim switch so that the STS will trim it correctly for me EDIT: Well I guess that above 220kts, flaps will be retracted so the STS won't be available... Will press then CMD A button , at 220 kts lol CMB Sent from Tapatalk
  20. Thanks, but i've already watched it several times
  21. Hi guys, I have some questions regarding the speed trim feature of the 737CL. The speed trim feature is available at high weight and high trust with flaps not up configuration, so basically it should be available during initial climb and during the approach. * Initial climb : The aircraft will try to maintain V2+20kts, but lets after 1500 fts AGL you want to start accelerating to 250 kts, if you only pitch down without trimming nose down, as speed is increasing but the trimmed speed is V2+20 kts, after releasing the yoke, the aircraft will pitch up. I'm wondering whats the technique to trim it correctly: 1) When accelerating and reaching the target speed ( 250 kts), does just trimming for 1 sec will let know the aircraft that 250 kts is the " new trimmed speed", then the aircraft will trim nose down to maintain that target speed. In this scenario, the aircraft will automatically trimmed the correct amount to of trim. 2) When accelerating, we have to keep trimming nose down until the target speed is reached (250kts). In this scenario, only small correction will maintain the target speed. * Approach Same as above ? I don't know if its clear enough, but i hope you will understand
  22. I was wondering if we can use the same key for multi PC?: I have a laptop and a desktop: do I need to purchase two keys ? CMB Sent from Tapatalk
  23. For those that wants to read the B733 OM, i found one on that website :http://www.lt-vacc.org/images/mesti/Boeing%20737-300-400-500%20Operations%20Manual.pdf
