  1. It appears that you are not signed into your X-Aviation account in Gizmo, so the G5s aren't activating. Sometimes the sign in window doesn't appear on X-Plane monitor when it is positioned at a negative display coordinate, as shown here. Temporarily open X-Plane in windowed mode instead of full screen and then the sign in dialog should show up.

  2. This crash bug should be sorted with the next update.

Custom animations aren't handled during replay by X-Plane, so make sure to do any replays before messing with the doors or anything else obvious from the outside.

  3. A bug was found with OpenGPWS, the terrain plugin that powers the RealSimGear G500 and Entegra avionics terrain database, causing a potential CTD with the parsing of the new ORBX True Earth scenery. A replacement for this plugin as an interim fix (the next released updates of the G500 and TorqueSim SR2Xs with the RealSimGear Entegra avionics will include these updates) is available for download here

    To install:

    • RealSimGear G500: In each aircraft where you have installed the RealSimGear G500, within that aircraft directory's /plugins/ folder, replace the OpenGPWS plugin with the provided new version.
    • TorqueSim SR20 and SR22 Series with Entegra Avionics: In each of those aircraft /plugins/ folder, replace the OpenGPWS plugin with the provided new version.

There was a new release version of OpenGPWS posted to the main Github repostory yesterday with the fix included and pasting the contents of that into the plugins\OpenGPWS folder of the aircraft I've been testing has stopped them crashing.

It may well be that there are other issues that will be caused by doing this so it's only a very temporary fix to get the planes up and running again until a patched version of the G500 can be released.

Yes, we will be integrating this into the G500 ourselves (we build our own builds of OpenGPWS that we deploy with our products, but that is mostly a technicality). In the interim, replacing the current OpenGPWS with the one provided here should handle what you need. We don't touch the DSFs ourselves in any of our products so the bug here should be contained exclusively within OpenGPWS.

  7. Regarding the GTN, there is a setting in the GTN options for it to output the GTN's flight plan as simulator waypoints, which the G500 then automatically reads.

Regarding airspace, we are only showing airspace where we had an available data set for, not all countries had a proper dataset we could use.

Regarding settings, while this G500 is not 1:1, there are map related settings via the menu button -> map setup page, as well as system settings available under the aux group.

Have had this Deactivating/Aktivating thingy now 14 times in an 140nm flight occuring on random timespans between 2 and 10 minutes.

... and for some reason it seems that this Deactivating/Activating doesn't happen with Wing-Flaps Circuit-Breaker switched off. Somewhat crazy...

Can you send your full log.txt file?

Thanks for the log. Looking at the file, it appears something is blocking the product version verification file from being downloaded, which is something we've seen a few times before due to other 3rd party plugins sometimes blocking network connections.

  10. It is likely something computer related, the 4-thread CPU is going to be incredibly difficult on it, so I could see either that or the HDD (though more likely the CPU) being the cause of the issue. This isn't something I have been able to replicate on my end.

    Hey,

    I bought the SR22 Entegra version today and installed it in X-Plane 12 (Windows 10 / Nivdia RTX 3080 10 GB VRAM / 32 GB RAM / i5-6600 CPU @ 3.30GHz). X-Plane 12 is installed on D:\X-Plane 12. I use a HDD, not a SSD.

    The plane was activated successfully.

Unfortunately, it will crash a few seconds after loading (shortly after the green lights on the PFD and MFD buttons light up).

Removing global plugins (of course except Gizmo) did not help.

I also tried "disable_mtuploader = 1" as was suggested earlier in this thread, but this did not help either.

It makes no difference if I load the plane cold and dark, or with running engines.

According to log.txt, it always crashes here:

Attached is my log.txt and the crash dump.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Can you send a log with disable_mtuploader set to 1? The log shows the crash occurring when the mt uploader is being attached.
