Hello. I have been dealing with AMD flashing since I purchased my 6900xt. Laminar stated they have asked AMD to fix the issue. As we all know it is an AMD Windows Driver bug. My 23 other games and two sims have no flashing. So I live with it.

Unfortunately, for me it happens on two add-on aircraft companies I love to purchase products from and support. All the others are fine. And it ONLY happens in combination with  weather add-on products with these aircraft, except for default XP weather and Active Sky. Again, not an issue with the products per se, but the AMD Windows driver bug.

My solution.....I have no flashing with these aircraft when I switch to default weather with AS. I keep my plugins to a minimum and problem is gone. Well at least I think its gone :).

For those of you who are still having flashing issues. Try to turn of Synthetic Vision.

    Hope this helps!

I use default weather with ASXP, and still have flashing. Synthetic vision is always off.

  2. Twice now I have parked up and shut down, however twice the aircraft has loaded me in on approach when opening the game the day after. Really annoying as I have to reload all the fuel.

Spawn in, aircraft is a few nm out of the runway, and I am walking around a flying FBO.

Log of the load has been attached. Used to work fine but now twice in the morning it hasn't worked.

Aircraft fuelled and parked up yesterday

    What I see loading in

After manually setting spawn location, the state lists this:

I just gave up and traded my card to an nvidia one, but apparently you get less flicker on driver 21.8.2

Got a source for this? Would get an nvidia card too but prices are crazy and I spent most of my cash on this.

    Gonna install 21.8.2 and see.

For me the flickering comes and goes.  I've found that a view change (exterior then back to interior) can "reset" things for you so that the flickering may go away.  I've also found that manipulating screens can cause the flickering to go away.

Comes and goes for me too, but no rhythm or reason I can see. Really hope this is fixed, as whilst its somewhat bearable on the interior, the exterior affects are completely destroyed by it.

    Hi Dipperdolphin,

I am not quite sure what you are seeing - keep in mind that the VNAV descent path is still not working reliably in all situations - it is one of the parts that is only working under certain circumstances. Here is a complete list of what is still "under construction" as of now:

    https://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/topic/8526-things-that-are-not-going-to-be-in-v133/

I did not see our aircraft "oscillate" while on the path, though (it is either working quite well or totally off the beaten path ;)) - a slight variation of rate of descent would be quite normal, though, to adhere to the calculated geometric path. There is also other functionality where the plane will add bursts of power in case of higher than calculated headwinds, etc.

If you want to post a video of what you are seeing, I might be able to diagnose it better.

    Cheers, Jan

Thanks, think it's down to winds combined with the flaky vnav - using the banana and vs to get down now :D

It appears that (please note this caution) all the maintenance information is in output>TBM900>state.  The maintenance. csv file contains all the line items in the maintenance log.  The total maintenance expense is in the airframe file (search for "maint").  You could edit these (when the TBM is not loaded).  You could accept that neither you nor I know if this is safe.  You could make backup files first.

That has worked! Thank you so much.

Thank you! I shall try editing that. Appreciate it.

I don't think so. Just create a new airframe. (Buy a new plane.) What's a game error?

    John.

Game crashed. When i loaded back in the thing was on fire.

I don’t want to create a new airframe as I have wear on other parts that is accurate.

    thanks
