  1. Hi, thought I’ll show the electrical panel . Still not wired but Almost there . ive decided to paint the panels all in black , think it provides a better contrast with the white backlight . I know it’s not like the original grey-ish , but hopefully I won’t regret it later requires the bolt cutouts painting ..

  3. Of course it does!!! would you expect anything less from @Goran_Matovina?

  4. Indeed I didn't! Looked at all the FAAV video's. Thought it would be nice as a subject topic for quick reference if anyone has the same issue. Pilots are telling me the screen looks exactly like the real one.

  5. You must have HDR enabled in your rendering settings for that type of lighting to work. Please verify you do.

  6. I'm somewhat dismayed that this was neglected in the 1.5.2 update. Bob

  7. Here's one of the few flights I've made in the BN-2T. I realized why my battery light wouldn't go out when I tried to start the aircraft for a subsequent flight and the battery was dead. A sim pilot is always learning...

  8. It's right in your screen shot (in the User Settings panel): "Simulate walking around aircraft and in FBO" You currently have it "Enabled"

  9. I set a view in Career Mode from the front seat (Crtl 5). Now when I enter the FBO i press "5" and now in on the plane in the seat. You will have to pull the pins the first time but just don't put them back and that should work

  10. Thanks for your answer Pils, but that´s my opinion, they are forcing the consumer to fly ONLY in Career Mode (if he or she wants to fly Kgs) which is absurd, (imagine if you bought the real CL 650 and you could NOT have the option to use in Kgs). I didn´t like the Career Mode, I just want to start my sim on my plane and not have to go through FBO, climb stairs, close door, etc.

  11. Sorry, Graeme_77, so you´re saying that I cannot change in Non-Persistent Mode from Lbs to Kgs ? I´m asking because that´s the problem I have now, I don´t know how to change to Kgs when starting with Non-Persistent Mode. If this is true, they are forcing the consumer to fly only in Career Mode, which is absurd.

  12. Alternatively, it should be possible to write a Lua script to help conducting test flights and record all needed data (plus a small tool to compute the values needed for PFPX from those data sets). I'm currently checking feasibility in respect to the time I personally have to not only come up with such a script but also perform all required flights (even with some degree of automation that's still quite time consuming). The Challenger isn't alone. It's just one more aircraft addon that has no or only inaccurate performance data in PFPX (my last purchases, iniBuilds A310 and Felis B742 have exactly the same issue), so I feel like (even when HotStart provides us with more detailed performance data) that's a reoccurring and quite annoying issue with most addons, so it would be good if there was some general (although time-consuming) solution. It's also probably best to wait for a few patches before starting such data collection as any tweak or bugfix to engine performance, FMS or autopilot behaviour may to some degree affect the collected data. The initial release probably isn't the best candidate to collect data from. While I have a lot of ideas I am missing the time to implement all of them (even in best case conducting the flights alone would probably take several days to complete). So do not take this as a promise that I will come up with something usable, at least not in the near future. After all, I still want to fly and enjoy the plane. Please let me know if you are aware of any previous (successful?) attempt to collect data from X-Plane this way or have a better idea. Edit: I've checked it and it seems to be feasible, even with the Challenger. It may even be possible to almost completely automate "piloting" the aircraft (although it would be very helpful to be able to trigger IRU realignment via a command as it's easy to knock out the INS by repositioning the aircraft). I still can't promise when (or if at all) I could have something ready, though.
