  1. Thank you very much for the support, it was the SCEL scenery due to its large name in the "apt.dat" file, I just disabled it first in order to test before editing the name and the TBM900 worked fine. I also have the JAR Ground Handling plugin but I didn't remove it.

  3. Thanks; done. That appears to have helped, at least I haven't experienced another CTD (despite rain and all) so far.

  4. Looking at the log, I believe you're hitting the same scenery as the user on our Discord. The issue is VirtualDesign3D's SCEL because of this nugget of a great airport name encoded in the apt.dat: "Arturo Merino Benítez International__de X-plane octubre-2016" You can temporarily work around this issue by going into the scenery, there should be a subfolder named "Earth nav data", inside which you'll find "apt.dat". Open it up in Notepad and near the top should be a line that looks like this: 1 1555 1 0 SCEL Arturo Merino Benítez International__de X-plane octubre-2016 Just trim down the name at the end by deleting the "__de X-Plane..." stuff and save it. Then it should load fine.

  5. Than you as a software developer would also know that most issues get out when the software is released into the wild and on the general user machines. I simply found a way that works and will live with it till it gets better. I guess I am just old and patient.

  6. This looks like it might be the “airport name too long” issue that a user had today. The offending scenery was for SCEL, but could be any with a name longer than 48 characters, if I recall. The name comes from parsing the apt.dat file in airport scenery. See if you might be able to remove some obvious candidates and try to narrow it down?

  8. First test flight with the new version and everything seems OK. ILS approach with latest Navigraph navdata whitout any problem. Also raining in LEMD and I could see the water drops in Vulkan. Thanks a lot for the update! Best regards, Dani

  9. You have quite a few plugins loading. I also see the GTN loading. Have you implemented this into the TBM or is it just loading on the side? Try removing it and see if it crashes. If it still crashes, you may have to remove all 3rd party plugins, and then testing again. If it doesn't crash, replace your plugins, one at a time until it crashes, then post back results. We can then determine if we can work around the crash or if it's something in the plugin causing it.

  10. @Goran_Mthe persistence is what makes this aircraft so great. Many a times I had to motor the engine before my next leg, because ITT was too high. Or getting ready to taxi and find out your trim isn't working because of maintenance issue and you have to shut the engine down and fix it. So many things that are made better by persistence. I can even restart x-plane and find the engine covers is not on yet because the engine has not cooled down. And yes I would love the P-factor back. I just love this "little" aircraft.

  12. Take a break both of you. I will have a lot of fun with the TBM 900. For now i make a turn to New Zealand starting in PAKT and turn a little round in USA. After more than 70 hrs. of flight i have to say its the best Addon i ever seen.

  13. No way, I want Steveo's 850 over the 930. But that's just me. I like steam gauges.
