  1. Hello All, This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 1.3 update for the Take Command! IXEG 737 Classic. All customers who have purchased the IXEG 737 Classic up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete instructions on how to obtain your update. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase the IXEG 737 Classic from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 1.3 for you. It is for X-Plane 11. If you use X-Plane 10, you can still install an old version of the aircraft from the installer, but this update does not otherwise apply to you. Caution: This update is optimized for XP11.41 and newer only! If you run it any previous X-Plane version it will still work, but the aerodynamic model gets changed and will not fly "by the numbers" anymore! Install at your own risk (make a backup of the aircraft folder first, especially if you run XP10)! What if I didn't get the update e-mail? If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do: 1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/account_history.php 2. Find your original IXEG 737 Classic download and re-download the file. It will download as the latest version! The following is a list of additions/fixes included: Bug fixes: Stopped "brakes" helping with turns if no rudder pedals installed Fixed turnoff lights lighting up the MCP Fixed Standby Power logic Disabled engine reverse thrust when fire handle pulled Removed option for "show vortices" which doesn't work with XP11 Fixed stall warning test not working on ground Fixed external view not accessible if watching a saved replay Improvements: Adjusted flightmodel to work best with the "new experimental flight model" option enabled (disabled works too, but less accurate) Switched ground model to default for XP11 users (better handling of engine failures) Adjusted "runway shake" effect to not move viewpoint too much Adjusted sensitivity for altitude and vertical speed manipulators when mouse-dragging Increased intensity of landing, taxi and runway turnoff lights Several updates/polishing of cockpit 3D (smoothing, better material, etc.) Improved import ability for different company route formats Updated shape of optional "winglets" Removed logo light lens if winglets enabled (it was still peeking through in places) Updated mesh of engines and fan animations Improved representation of flight controls (avoid spoilers popping up), gear lever animation and weird sounds in cockpit during replays Enabled basic "hot start" functionality if fuel introduced at (way) too low N2 Improved windmilling start behaviour (now works for lower N2s) Additions: Added grab and move around flashlights(white) and maplights(red) Added mousewheel support to all twistable manipulators Added TAI ON WITH TAT ABOVE 10C warning to FMC Added "altitude reminder dials" on CPTs and FO yoke Added option to disable/assign button to "pop out" IXEG menu Added option to disable/assign button to "view presets" IXEG menu Added option to increase/decrease EHSI preview popups Added option to totally remove EHSI preview popups Added option slider to adjust yoke height Engines now windmilling on ground if wind strong enough Added default support (and option) for AviTab integration As always, thanks for being a customer with X-Aviation. We appreciate your feedback and support! Enjoy these latest updates, and stay tuned to the forum as we continually announce the latest happenings.

  2. Hello! Congratulations on the update, been looking forward to it! You've finally added scroll wheel support BUT the direction is the opposite direction of every single other addon which makes it a bit annoying to use. For example in the 733 scrolling up on the altitude selector decreases the altitude whereas in every other addon it would increase the altitude. Is there any chance you'd consider changing this or adding an option to change it?

Make a backup of the file "B733_cockpit" which is located in objects. New files need to be put in objects and fly !Only tested with X-Plane11, should work with X-Plane 10 too. My mail: sergio4mor@gmail.com

  9. That worked. Thanks. I have been using Catalina for almost a year now. Thanks. Cheers

  10. Sounds like you have updated to Catalina after already having the IXEG 737 Classic installed, which means your uninstaller is from old architecture that Apple no longer supports. In this situation you will need to take the following steps: 1. Go to X-Plane/X-Aviation folder and delete the following file: Uninstall IXEG 737 Classic 2. Go to X-Plane/Aircraft/ and delete the following folder: IXEG 737 Classic 3. Re-run the IXEG installer That should have you back up and running!

  11. We have made the necessary changes to Synthetic Vision so it now works in X-Plane 11.50 with Vulkan/Metal! Before we push out the update in the release version, we are making the plugin update available as a patch file for your existing file to test out. Let us know if it works, or especially, if it doesn't. No other significant changes are in 1.1.1 except for SVS compatibility. --- 1.1.1 is now officially released. ----

  12. Disclaimer: For those of you that don't read the full Log.txt and just scoot to the juicy parts I'm testing with Win 10 2004 Build 19041 Beta and X-Plane 11.50b9 Beta. Any/All/None of the issues mentioned could be related to running Beta software not related to Torquesim PR (Pocket Rocket). Until both Betas are stable, finalized, and released can you be assured of consistent/reliable test results and performance. And now for something completely different. Setup Cleared Shader Cache Scaled Back Settings from Mid-High to Mid. Data Output On – Frame Rate Initiate Sim Calibrate Controls Select PR @ KLVK Rwy 25R Start Flight Load time slow due to shader cache rebuilding. Once A/C appears it freezes for a few seconds for what I can only guess is the plugins initiating. Once running Frame Rates and CPU/GPU Usage climbs, systems come on line, and everything spools up. Stop right here and celebrate; no crashes and the SVS is working. Good job guys! Spoiler Alert: The Exhaust Effect requires adjustment. It's obscuring the lower quadrant of the windscreen all the way past the leading edge of the wing disrupting both forward and side view. No, it's not the dreaded blurries, I checked. I forgot how much fun this thing is to fly even though I'm a RW Citabria KCAB and SF 260 driver. You only need about a third of the resources available and anything more will put you behind the A/C. The trick is to always stay ahead of A/C for proper operations; the further the better. My CPU/GPU Usage is about twice what is for everything else in my hanger and Frame Rate about half with no stutters or blurries. Heavy lifting. Your results may vary. Ran a standard pattern and set up on final. Here's where I remind everyone that having brakes is a good thing. As the saying goes, “Old Brakes Are Hard To Habit”. Throttle to beta, flare, settle, touchdown, reverse prop, brakes? Brakes? BRAKES?? OS! Out of reverse and into Beta and it's off like rocket. Pull the Fuel Conditioner back to idle and the prop to feather driving the ITT Temp to skyrocket. Rolling, rolling, rolling. Go to fuel cut off. Rolling, rolling, rolling. Pull the Parking Brake. Stop. I had crossed the runway threshold at minimums, ate up 5250 ft. of runway, careened off the last possible intersection at the end of the runway and rolled a third of the way back down the taxiway. Just think how much time I saved on the Hobbs. I guess that makes up for what wear/tear I put on the tires. Lucky I wasn't in the tailwheel version because the lateral forces would have been fatal. Added Gear & Brakes to my Data Output and confirmed my suspicions. When you put pressure on the brakes the number climbs accordingly until you hit the stops and the number immediately drops to zero. I fixed all Failures via the X-Plane GUI and tried again. Same results. I switched A/C to Default C172 and brakes tested 100%. Back to PR, no brakes. Now you can call me a coward but I do really prefer to have working brakes. Restarted the sim and flew several more pattern circuits with same results but I did get my stopping distance down. Friendly reminder; always memorize your emergency checklist so you'll have something to think about while you're fumbling around to find your hard/electronic copy. Other than that Mrs. Lincoln what did you think of the play? To sum it up, other than the aforementioned issues which I know will get corrected, I want to thank all those involved for the hard work, blood, sweat & tears they took to make a really great A/C. 14. Greetings again Coop; I found your posting late last night so I haven't had time yet to put her through all her paces. After installing the patch I only took a quick initial run. I started the flight at my test airport KLVK with the default C172 and was getting my usual 40+ FPS and stable. Switched A/C to Pocket Rocket. Slow A/C load. When she appeared, without a crash, the engine was running and SVS was functioning. That's the good news; unfortunately my FPS dropped to between 18 - 20. My last recollection of PR performance was 27 - 30 FPS. I tried engaging/disengaging SVS which resulted in no change in FPS status. After a quick perusal around the cockpit I shut down the sim so I could give you a pristeen initial load/startup log for you to chew on. Today I plan get things cleaned up, tuned on my end and turn down my settings since the X-Plane log shows heap usage/heap budget issues with PR. Once my side of the street is cleaned I'll try different scenarios/system tests and provide you with the logs and reports . My usual Beta test method is to slap it, steal it's lunch money, give it a wedgie, and send it home crying to Mommy but I'm so happy to have the PR back in the hanger I think I may take a tactical analytical approach. More to follow. Film @ eleven... Roger Log 1.txt

  15. This isn't a pissing contest. Keep it out of here, please. You're obviously bitter and not so easy to please, so we'll leave it at that for now. Thanks for not bringing your negativity further onto others in the forums.

  16. I wonder if this was a rushed release do to Nimbus announcing their BN2. Capture the market before a competitor. I for one have parked it and won't fly it until it's complete.

  17. ....for those interested, we are probably not going to get the datarefs and commands we want to in the next update; however, we are not averse to very short cycle updates. Because this update had such a backlog of important things, its taken a while and we must focus on those, but now that we are essentailly "caught up", will be able to implment improvements rather quickly and are targeting another update in less than a month to include many more commands and datarefs for hardware. -tkyler

  18. If your reply is meant to imply that I can't fly because of lacking skills my 7 type ratings beg to differ. I can list them so please don't bother.
