  1. And the third video, pretty much what would happen in real life, set weather to acceptable for RWY33 and you can tell that it was a whole different game. Thank you for watching, it was pure fun, getting to know LES Saab340A better and better, hand flying is awesome! Andy, hope you enjoyed the videos and thank you for a great idea, looking forward to more. Cheers, AJ

  3. Hi guys and ... from me! Looking only at our Panthera I will give you some clues what to expect. 1. About flight model. We are waiting to get the data from Pipistrel to work on that. We are looking for the most accuracy is possible. 2. Cockpit. We have done some preliminary work on cockpit object, but we are changing the textures you have see to a much higher detail, probably 5x. 3.On systems we have laid some basic plugin work (we will use SASL). But we are waiting for the 10.30 release which brings a new GPS to see what the possibilities are. In conclusion, we will go slow, but we will not sacrifice accuracy for any reason.

  4. I'm in the process or creating a tool which will add buildings, obstacles and forests from OpenStreetMaps. I know there is already a tool called OSM2XP existing, but it has a couple of problems and development seems to have stalled on it for the time being. The tool presently supports the following: Multipolygon buildings (buildings with holes) are supported. This makes a big difference in cities.Multipolygon forests and relations are supported. Lots of forests (especially in Europe) are grouped together in OSM into relations, and OSM2XP couldn't find these, which made large areas in Europe where there are forests empty.Complex Rules supported. Example, you can specify that a building with a particular set of tags, and area or height should use a particular facade. This means you can also place obstacles not only based on their tag, but also on their height and other information. If a building has colour information, the tool will generate a facade for it with the exact colour of the wall and roof specified. This all depends on the information in OSM of course, but in some major cities, it's really well done, and people have started to add this information.Resume support, so if you are generating a large scenery area. You can stop the program, try it out, and continue the generation later for other tiles. The program is still in alpha and is currently command-line only, however it's already generating some good scenery. These shots below show a run I did in Berlin: I'm not intending for the program to compete with OSM2XP, as I'm designing it for scenery developers who understand the options and aren't scared of config files and the command-line. Of course, if anyone is willing to create a GUI for it, I'd be happy for the help :-)

  5. You might think you're "helping a friend" but you're also disrespecting the rights of developers who put time and hard work into sharing something with the community for free on their own terms.

  6. Second video, I almost killed few passengers and myself trying to land on RWY 33 with the VATSIM weather. Look at the numbers in above screenshot, notice the wind direction... In real life , I would definitely attempt to land , if at all at RWY15 but for the sake of fun in the simulation I did land on RWY 33, barely made it. Did not even damaged the plane but it was an insane attempt. Enjoy watching my struggles. Cheers, AJ

  9. Hello Forum, first of all thank you for this great tool ! ;-) This little "project" is for me, to understood the lua language. I have it push to GitHub to share for other peoples, under: https://github.com/urbanswelt/XAutoCopilot Structure is: XAutoCopilot\scripts -> init.lua -> xac_lua/xac_logic_structure.lua -> xac_lua/xac_toolbar.lua, xac_lua/xac_datarefs.lua,xac_lua/xac_preparation.luaThis structure is for me the best way to "split" other scripts if i have more than one later ;-) At this time is it a couple of past and copy from Ben´s examples. This plugin is intended to simulate a copilot later. dependencies: This plugin is for the plane A320 from JarDesign But now to my "stupid" question =) I would set the speedbrake dref Is it right when i use dref.setInt(xac_speedbrake, 0.0) in my script ? Or what is the syntax for this ? O.o Thank you in advance ;-) Greetings Lars

  10. Yeah, I know. We're still developing, it will also take some time. Don't want to be arrogant or anything but everyone who will want quality will wait for ours. Others are just impatient or really just want to play. That's my statement, not going to ruin their work with my opinion so I'm just going to shut my mouth. Have some cookies now. ....and yes, I have rebuilt it. Mat
