Gentlemen, As some of you know I have recently became a very active user of LES Saab 340A. I started a very detailed and long thread on this great bird in the Va I am a member. Since many Saab guys are not members there, I thought it would be a good idea to share my experiences here in X-Aviation forums, the actual "home" of the Saab. After my initial bad experience and the "war" with few X-Aviation Leaders, I finally realised that the problems I was experiencing were also a part of my X-Plane setup. I was a bit ( or more ) reluctant and kind of stubborn thinking that having a decent system with a powerful GPU is automatically put the blame for my failures with Saab on the LES Team. I was wrong and apologized in public ( the cause was not totally on my side for these who read the related forums). Finally taking Ben's advice, I reinstalled X-Plane from scratch eliminating all unnecessary plugins and "garbage" accumulated through couple of years old XP installation and trying different plugins, add-ons etc. I only copied the extensive Custom Scenery which as you all know brings the joy to XP and is pretty much a necessary plausible factor. Reinstalling XP followed by reinstalling LES Saab 340A worked ( thank you Ben ) to the extend I am able to fly SAAB on a mid range routes and as long as I stay in cockpit view, I am getting acceptable frame rates around 20-27 FPS. If I fly a bit longer I am unable to switch to external view since the frame rate drops to a single digits. I am convinced that the coming update will fix that so I can move on and share my great experiences with LES Saab 340A here. Cameron and all LES Developers, I hope you will not object me posting here and sharing the fun with others. IF you do not want me to do that , just let me know and I will discontinue. After it being pointed out on the awesome loading system for this free addon I downloaded it to test tonight. Anyway, Love the fact that every time you want to use a different "theme" you have to backup your original texture and load the new in hahahahaha. This stuff is getting so tecnologically advanced I'm not sure my system can handle it. Can't wait to copy and paste Cherrio Sky with the burnt umbre colors, then go back and fire up X-Plane, wait for the I'm sure horrible frame rates to again haunt me and try another "theme" and start all over. I wish there was a plugin that would allow you to do all this and not have to copy and paste every time. Oh wait ! There is ! It's called Sky-MAXX Pro. I wish there was a plugin would help my frame rates, well actually increase them massively so some of my payware poly heavy aircraft and scenery would finally be able to flow. Oh wait ! There is ! It's called Sky-MAXX Pro...I'll load up a video and or review later to be sure.

So,as you can see we are under a new name to this BIG project. The name changed because we are no longer using OSM as our main source,except for networks and fields. It's a new project,with the same target: modeling the part of israel in the best way we can. First of all the area that is covered: Yellow area- An area that's almost ready Red area- An area that will be included Black area- CVFR routes in the area Green area- Will be included in later releases Blue Area- ZL18 Photoreal Circles points- LandMarks that we modeled but din't place yet Blue airplane- LandMarks that are placed in thier postition "Clouds"- Planned LandMarks So what are we going to include: 1) Local LandClass of most of the networks and rivers 2) All the little airstrips and airfields in the area 3) Hand placed objects in every village/city/fileds : 3A. Fields will get some green houses for ex. 3B. Cities will get hand placed blocks and houses 3C. Villages will get some private houses. 4) Unique features of every city/village/field,for example : Tel Aviv is knows in the many huge trees that it have between that buildings,and that's a very improtant part of the look of tel aviv. 5) Full industrial areas,some will be modeled and some will be shaped as .FAC. 6) 100+ LandMarks,the list is growing every day A BIG THAN YOU to and fsx users that created some of the LandMarks that we converted- Tomer Haim,Israeli scenery project team,and Bar Rodoy 7) ZL18 Photoreal for the area in the map above & ZL15 for the rist of Israel 8) Custon building textures as an israeli style and as the area style particulary,and of course night textures. 9) CVFR Routes *Not decided yet* 10) Mesh fixes for the area,we are having some problems here that we hope to solve. Release- We ave no exact plane,and his an on going project,in every release this project will grow more and more,BUT soon we will release V0.8. So after this explenation,some pictures: Note that I have comressed textues optins checked in XP10 settings,I have a GTX 460 1GB so I really want to save VRAM In a modern hardaware the texutres will be sharper as you can UnCheck this setting. No Harry Sky-MAXX isn't a waste of money but reading your redundant troll posts all over the forums are a collosal waste of time. You go right ahead and use that POS addon and keep your frame rates with clouds where they were at before Sky-MAXX. Yep in the toilet. I think my favorite cloud texture in the new addon is the Cheerio Sky and with it's hundreds of lovely little rings. You talk about SMP stuttering yet you continue to stutter and stutter and stutter. Do you really think you're going to destroy SMP with what you're doing ? Got a news flash for ya, you're actually looked at as quite a joke. Purchased SKY MAXX PRO for a future use,IXEG 733 when comes,is next! Well,after this project I'm going to buy a HIGH-END PC,been saving mony for a while And that's how it looks in Tel aviv's beach infront of the hotels: For the next couple of weeks we are going to a work on many new LandMarks (there are 25+- more,just in Tel Aviv )
