AF380
grettings fellow pilots, im sort of new at flying the new 767 by michael chang, and i cant figure out how to make it takeoff smoothly. maybe someone can help me solve this issue. heres what i do: as soon as im done taking off and gear is up, i engage the autopilot, after 5,000ft the plane just starts bouncing erratically. when i turn the autopilot off the bouncing stops, when i turn it on it starts. this has happened whenever i takeoff with the plane and i dont know why its doing this. Is there any kind person who would please help me solve this issue? i really love the plane and cant fly it successfully if i cant get it to stop bouncing. Ben
You can correct this issue by turning off both Yaw Dampers which are located at the top left of the overhead panel. I hope this helps. Edited February 28, 2013 by Ben

howardthepilot1999
It only happens above 280 KIAS for me. Either you are breaking ICAO aviation law below 10, 000' or a bug.

Michael Chang said it was a bug and on the download page advised people to turn off the Yaw Dampers

Ryan M.
Yeah, the yaw dampers were the problem. Glad you resolved the issue!
