Freeware 787-8 project

In all honesty though, this thread is a train wreck. I think the best option right now is to lock this thread, and until Michael has something to show, he could start a new, cleaner and less immature post.

I second that motion.

I can never get why people are able to read enough of the thread to understand that it is/will be a good product that they want to get and then not read just the last page to find out that the release date is still unknown... Seriously just scroll up 7 or 8 posts...

I 100% agree with peter; I wish Michael would just lock this topic for good untill it is released... because this thread is becoming more pointless every time someone (except Michael) posts somthing. Almost seems like the pointless IXEG 737 posts at the .org where the thread is what seems like 200,000 pages long... <_<

Edit: Let me rephrase: I 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% agree with peter

WOAH!!! You mean you actually read a previous post to see that you're not the only one, and that you agree?! Sorry to beat the dead horse...but it had to be said - the sarcasm is real :P (I completely respect you UA84) and i'm sorry Michael, that your thread has come to this...

Good morning, Good evening, Good day, wherever you are at this moment,

yes, I totally agree to two things: to be sorry, to what this thread was going to, and to close this thread. Why?!

First, I totally understand and respect, when Michael is more in real life, than in sim-life. Education, work, is more important than everything.

Over the last two weeks I retired from X-Plane, and went back to FlightGear. I was getting sick on the behaiviour how Planes and Users are treated at the moment. The two major players, FlightFactor and JarDesign, are not able to deliver a plane, that is working on all OSs. And that for that price. The updates, especially by FF, are a joke and a nightmare.

And in the community, the good planes are becoming rare. And now we are here. This thread started 2012. And now have a look at the community in FlightGear. Have a look, where the A330, the 787-8, the 777, and all the others planes are today. Where the complete sim is today, with the help of a stable community. And this is the lack, why this bird, the 787 we are talking about here, will never see the sun on FL410. Because everybody of the developers in X-Plane is doing his thing on his own. And not really clarifying. It's all on communication. A big failure, I noticed in all the years on X-Plane, and now it's time to change completely, for me.

Just my 2cents, and I really wish Michael all the best for his future life, personally, and in work, business, whatever he is going to be.
