MaidenFan
I went for an introductory flight the other day. The instructor decided to let me land it!
Nicola_M
Cool, did he let you because you maybe mentioned you do them in xplane? Just asked as I had a couple of intro flight years back and wasn't given the controls except when we were very high up only.1st was a lady instructor - very smooth landing. 2nd was a guy who bounced it down the runway before telling me it was one of his best.I hadn't the nerve to tell him it was the worst of the two I'd had.....I still remember it as if it was recent. It was a C152, G-BLZE. Last seen, another student put it through a gate. You know, one of those wooden things between walls or hedges. MaidenFan
They had XP there. WOW! It had the avionics on one screen with an entire set of PFC flight sim controls!I got to taxi, takeoff, cuise around, and land. He said he would take the controls from me right before the landing, but he never actually did.X-Plane helped me a TON! I didn't know it could transfer to real flying so well... Simmo W
That's great to know Perry, that xp is so transferable. Maybe it will help your simming too
