luiz_monza Posted November 7, 2021 Report Share Posted November 7, 2021 Hi guys, Sorry if this subject have already been covered here, but I just can't seem to succeed in turning TCAS ON, even after tkofs, having checked Xponder is in ALT mode... Litjan Posted November 7, 2021 Report Share Posted November 7, 2021 (edited) Hi Luiz, to see traffic on your navigation display (ND) you need to be in a mode that displays navigational data (i.e. NOT FULL VOR/ILS or PLAN modes) - and you need to set up your transponder to be active, and also TCAS to at least TA. In fact I haven't noticed that the Xponder mode switch, which is on the top left of it, was in off position....Silly mistake. In fact, I have never touched that switch, only activating Xponder by means of the switch STBY/AUTO/ON switch. Once shifted to TA/RA position, TFC mode immediately showed up again on ND.
