Mooney Rocketeer Posted December 3, 2020 Report Share Posted December 3, 2020 I am a newbie to X-Plane, but a 24 year Mooney Pilot. Just downloaded AFM M20 collection this week. Running X-plane V11.5 I am getting what looks like discharged orange air bag in cockpit which blocks my view of the instrument panel for both the Acclaim and the Ovation, and I am not seeing scenery outside. Bravo Pilot Posted December 12, 2020 Report Share Posted December 12, 2020 Hello Rocketeer! I too am a real world Mooney (Bravo) pilot. If I'm understanding you correctly, I think you're seeing the virtual pilot's face from the inside. I'm using Track IR and when the plane loads up, I can see the inside of the virtual pilot's face. I can adjust my center point with Track IR but still when I move my head around the virtual pilot's face frequently impedes my view. I'm trying to figure out how to disable the virtual pilot so he's not there. There's a lady (presumably his [my??] wife) in the right seat which doesn't bother me but there should be a way to toggle the virtual pilot to off or just have him appear during external shots but not from within the cockpit. wdeninger Posted May 27, 2021 Report Share Posted May 27, 2021 Good day, I love the M20TN and am hoping to buy one some day. Until then, I'll toy with the simulation. I've been unable to figure out how to use the oxygen system. No matter what I do, I block out above 15k feet over time (view goes black). How do I use oxygen so I can visit 25k feet?
