Rob Carson Posted August 16, 2020 Author Report Share Posted August 16, 2020 I haven't had the cutting out when taxying for a while. I leave fuel pump on and lean the mixture significantly and keep rpm up. With regards hot start I can sometimes get it started but haven't quite figured out the exact procedure. memcbride Posted August 16, 2020 Report Share Posted August 16, 2020 This issue occurs for me when I use real weather data and the outside ground level air temp is above 25C. Thinking a bit more about it hot humid weather will result in less air to mix with so if you apply a bit more throttle (more air) and lean more (less fuel) you will get a better air to fuel mixture and maybe it won't cut out.
