StatusFinal
Hi, Is SkyMaxx Pro a requirement for Real Weather Connector to work? I'm using ActiveSky and regular XP clouds is it possible to add RWC to this combination without enabling SkyMaxx Pro (I have it but it's disabled currently)
Brunlea
Yes you need SMP to use RWC. RWC will not install without SMP installed. I use RWC, SMP and ASXP and the skies look beautiful. Just make sure you go into ASXP Options > Simulator Depiction options > Use SkyMaxxPro depiction mode and turn it on Edited August 2, 2020 by Brunlea

StatusFinal
so let's see if I understand you correctly, I just need to have SMP on for the installation of the RWC after that I can disable it and RWC will work correctly with default cloud? Brunlea
RWC connects your weather injector (ASXP in this example) to your cloud / scenery rendering software (SMP). If you just want default clouds, default sky colours and default effects then just use ASXP on its own.
