ArthurSG006
Hi, Can someone help me please? I was studing a bit this aircraft when i saw a "PMC switch". What is this? What is the function? Does IXEG simulate? (This is the OM for 737 -300 -400 and -500, so i dont know exactly if 737-300 has this :/ ) Thank you.
Litjan
The PMC is the "power management computer "of the engines. It is normally always on. It does stuff like keeping the engines at climb power while it climbs automatically and provides overspeed protection and such. If it is faulty the plane CAN be flown with it off (I did that once), but the switch is in the lower nose compartment. We do not model operation without it.
