About This File

This is a 3D model of the Challenger 650 for use when flying in online networks like VATSIM.  This will be visible for multiplayer traffic flying type code CL60.

Downloading and Installation Instructions:
Download and then extract the CL60 folder into your pilot client CSL folder (X-Plane 11/Resources/plugins/xPilot/Resources/CSL/Bluebell/ for default installs) to see this model.  This model includes lights (Nav, Beacon, Landing), retractable gear, and rotating engines.  There are also animated Flaps, Spoilers, Speedbrakes, and Taxi Lights, but there appears to be some dataref issues (these don't appear to animate in the sim).  Hopefully we can have HotStart resolve with future updates!  I do hope that we see a proper CSL done by Hot Start and the goal wasn't to replace that, but in the meantime I hope the community can enjoy this work!

This model uses some parts from the XCSL C750, which were shared with permission.  Please do not resell this work.

Thank you!

Released

There were some clerical issues with the CSL text file that were causing issues and some errors in the log file.  These are resolved!  No substantive changes.

Any folder will work!  I think bluebell just makes those folders for sorting, xPilot won't care. An animation error in the gear transition was found that I'll update.  I'm also going to try to get engines working and add taxi lights in the next update.  Thank you for downloading!

hello how to add it under Ivao thank you

The majority of pilot clients will store their CSL folders inside their xplane plugin folder.  Navigate to your xplane folder, then resources, then plugins.  You should see your pilot client.  For IVAO it may be labeled "xcsl."  You just need to drop the cl60 folder with all the other plane folders (you should see a large list of plane models).  You can also search for them using Windows (Try searching for C750.obj which is a csl file).  Good luck!

Thank you for the wonderful work.

We were flying a duo last night and noticed that as soon as the aircraft was powered up the tail strobe came on.  Taxi lights don't appear to be implemented but I'm not sure if that's a limitation of CSL or not.  The odd behavior I noticed was that when the strobes were turned on the CSL model's tail strobe extinguished.  Just wanted to report our observations if you are still working on the project and thanks again for this awesome CSL.

There's a dataref for the "Nav" lights which will illuminate the tail nav strobe and wing nav lights, were you seeing the tail strobe without the Nav lights on?  That shouldn't be possible, since there's no "is the plane powered" dataref that i'm checking.  If it wasn't tied to a dataref it would just always be on.  I'll test it out.

Yes I had an issue getting Taxi lights to work properly, this is a highly customized plane by HotStart and it interacts with X-Plane a bit differently than other aircraft, so some Datarefs weren't getting picked up (flaps for instance also don't work, but I have these tied to landing lights instead and its hard to tell).

Thanks for the feedback!
