  1. I really wanted to call the script "Purple Haze" (it is the song that I'm using to build up calluses to pick up guitar playing again...) because of some initial issues that made the haze go purple on dawn and sunset... But did not want to get into any copyright fights...
  2. Yeah, guess who's sent the email...
  3. Looks like you have problems with the file RTH_prefs.txt. Does this happen when you try to load the preferences or just when you open X-Plane / run the RTH scripts? If so try to get the "mac/linux" version (it's on the .org) an run that, it WILL run on win7, it just creates the RTH_prefs.txt in X-Plane's root folder instead of in the scripts folder. However I would check for the existence of the RTH_prefs.txt file in your "scripts" folder first.
  4. Nol I've published a mac/Linux version on the .org, I'm not sure here but I will, in case, tomorrow... From Android with Love. And Tapatalk.
  5. File Name: Real Terra Haze File Submitter: SPAS File Submitted: 05 May 2014 File Category: Plugins and Utilities Current version is 2.11 This is an add-on script for FlyWithLua based on the findings of user PASCAL_LSGC over at AVSIM about the raleigh scattering controls. It implements these controls so they are automatically tuned based on the sun elevation (the light veers towards reddish tones when the sun is low on the horizon) and plane altittude (gains go up as you go up). Requires FlyWithLua!!! Get it here please take time to read this from Ben Supnik The art controls are not a public interface to make X-Plane add-ons. They are an internal development tool. They are unsupported, undocumented, unsafe, and most importantly subject to change with every patch of X-Plane. If you create an add-on that requires reading or writing the art controls, you can expect that your add-on will stop working when X-Plane is updated. When your add-on breaks, please do not complain or file a bug. Just slap the scripts in your ../resources/plugins/FlyWithLua/scripts folder. Please read the readme. If you have installed Sky Maxx Pro, the shadows of the clouds will not be displayed. Script by SPAS (leave him a PM on the forum if you want) Thanks to MAT18590 for all the support and inspiration (and for setting the RGB and raleigh values straight) content kindly provided by x-pilot users Tom Knudsen and slai have been used in the scripts. Hope you enjoy it. see a couple of videos from the user Emer1976 and PS the scripts are free and free to redistribute or modify. If you do modify them for the better it would be nice to get that feedback.Click here to download this file

  9. <br />Login information for the website and the so called "game world" are different... Make sure you use the correct one for the plugin. <br /><br />From Android with Love. And Tapatalk. <br /><br />
  10. Tom, Just seen the topic and can't wait to try out your scripts. If you want to have a look a what real terra haze ha become in v2b head over to x plane Italia and download it from there. There are still some issues I'm ironing out... Although I had no idea about issues with the lights (that's one part I look at very little) The thread with the links is here. Sorry for any typos but I am on my tablet now... http://www.x-plane.it/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=23353
  11. well that's understood.... anyway if there's anything we can do to make Laminar a bit more responsive... Keep up the good work!!
  12. Any chance to bring that into X-Plane??? Also, please fix the shaders to project shadows from the clouds. It would be nice to have them coupled with the new effects from Real Terra Haze...
  13. See, we already have update 1.2 Arent these guys amazing. Thanks for a gorgeous christmas gift. Very happy now!!
  14. Ben, this is what I get from the h500_rotor.lua script. the controls are incredibly jittery. This does not happen with the rotor in "demo" mode... any idea?? this is how it looks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HozS75BHqU EDIT OK, just found a way around, just commented out line 91 as --dref.setFloat( xcdr_rotorPositionDegressMainMuted, 0 ) seems to remove the jitter in the controls... not sure what that code did but the heli is perfectly flyable now!! file is attached. h500_rotor.zip
  15. Jaggo, just be patient, I'm sure they'll fix it. It is a new product and they're getting all the feedback they need to produce more amendments so just let the magic work for a little. I know we paid good money but seeing the impact it is having on X-Plane I think it's just a matter of time before it becomes an AWESOME product, unless they want to lose their now acquired primacy for X-Plane weather engine(s). Good things come to those who wait. Or those who get there and get them done.
