  1. Trouble taking off

I have recently purchased the Saab 340 and it looks good, but, though I have followed the instructions to the letter, I can't manage to get it to take off. I accelerate carefully to 60% of full speed and then the emergency warning light comes on saying "configuration error". I have tried to take off anyway to see what happens, but I go up about 10 feet and just come down again! I must have missed something important, but cannot work out what. Any ideas gratefully received. If it helps, I enclose the log and gizmo files. Brian (PS I put this in the general help thread, but perhaps that was the wrong place) GizmoLog.txt Log.txt

  3. Hi, I had purchased the les saab 340 for x plane 11. Though it was not recommended, the aircraft pretty much loads fine except for the gps. It is unusable and cannot be turned on. I get the error: Run(xp) : G530_main: [string "JGX.2.G530.00.lua.aes"] : attempt to index local 'G530navCycleFileHandle" (a nil value). Is there anyway to make the gps work or will I need to wait till version 1.5 of the saab is released?
  4. Saab 340 v2

So i recently read a Facebook post by Leading Edge sims about the upcoming release of a Saab 340 v2 for XP11. I was wondering if owners of the original Saab will get a discount on the newer XP 11 Saab 340 v2, as I was planning to buy the currently available Saab by christmas, but I don want to jump the gun if a major update is in store. -my regards and best of luck AV
  5. Hi, I recently purchased the les Saab 340 and had done a few flights with it; however, recently I have not been able to start the engines. When I put the condition lever to start and feather and switch the ignition the engine sounds like its spooling up, but the temp only rises to about 30 and the rpm increases slightly. The same thing happens with the auto start feature. Has anyone had this problem that can help?
  6. Hello everyone, I recently bought the Saab. Everything works great except the Altitute Set knob. It is stuck at 32000ft and I can't change it. The test button on the left works though. I tried to install again the saab, the same thing happens. If someone can help, it would be much appreciated. Happy New Year to everyone, Maxlaud
  7. Hi folks! I've recently purchased x-aviation Saab 340A for X-Plane 10.5, running on MacBook Pro (Late 2015). Install works a treat however when accessing the Saab aircraft within x-plane I can not flick switches, operate throttles etc. Now, looking at the setup guide there are several plugins required to run Saab 340... however these are all installed during installation. Is there anyone who can help? I sent a query direct to X-Aviation however not had any feedback. Key issues: No GizMo toolbar at right of screen No working instruments - Only EGT indicates idle speed EGT of 350 degC on digits, no analogue movement. Rudder pedals moving of their own accord even with no weather set. External image shows all doors and the emergency escape hatch in flightdeck all open. Prop animation looks like fuzzy lines. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you need more info. Some system info: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 AMD Radeon R9 M370X macOS Sierra Many thanks, Gary.
  8. Saab 340 Pressurization

Hello, Recently I purchased the Saab 340 and I am so far very pleased with it! At the moment I am attempting to follow the included tutorial and everytime I reach 10,000 ft., I get a CABIN PRESS warning. Tried looking through the manual for how to actually pressurize the aircraft, and though I got a look at the pressurization systems, I wasn't able to pressurize my aircraft the next time I flew and set the knobs according to what the manual indicated. Any help on how to pressurize the Saab and preferably some more information on the pressurization systems would be much appreciated! Thanks
  9. Heavy Metal - JGG-Crossair HB-AHA

JGG-Crossair HB-AHA View File Here's a repaint for the awesome Saab 340 from LES. It's my first repaint and I wanted to do something Swiss. I fly around Zurich a lot and I really like the Swiss cross on the tail fin. This repaint is of Crossair HB-AHA. It was delivered to Crossair in 1984 and was part of their fleet of regional aircraft that flew between Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lugano and Zurich. This particular aircraft was put out of service in February 1990 when the landing gear was retracted on the ground during a training exercise. There were no locking pins in place and it caused irreparable damage. Crossair had been growing quite well during the 70's and 80's which made Swissair, the national airline, quite nervous. During the late 80's Swissair were purchasing more and more shares in Crossair and eventually owned about 60% of the company. Because of this, I've included a Swissair branded GPU in the livery. It also has a logo light for the tail fin. Now you can fly with the correct colours when you do those regional routes in Switzerland! Hope you enjoy, Jase Submitter Jason Gilholme Submitted 05/02/2016 Category Heavy Metal Livery For Click Here For Aircraft X-Plane Version(s)

  13. Saab 340 Issues [Resolved]

I just bought the Saab 340 a few days ago and I am having some serious issues with it cashing X-Plane. It seems that the Gizmo console window pops up and then my sim crashes. This can be while I am on the ground, during a flight or when trying to land. There is no specific time period when it all crashes. All of my other aircraft work fine with the exception of the Saab 340. I fly on FSE alot and it is really frustrating trying to complete jobs when my sim crashes and I have to start over again. Attached is my log file from X-Plane and Gizmo64. Let me know what else is needed. I am running the latest version of the 340, X-Plane and Gizmo. Log.txt GizmoLog.txt

  18. Hello, All!, It has been a very long time since we've let info out on this product. Time has gone by, and in that time X-Plane 10 has been released, the product was put on a temporary hold, and we carried on with products like the DC-3 that so many of you are enjoying (thanks to all of you for making that product a success!). Over the course of the last few months the Saab 340 was picked back up and we have been working hard in the background to complete it. The team involved is working very hard to ensure this product a good one, and based on what we have produced so far, I have no doubt this product is going to be a hit! The length in time may seem disheartening to some, but in reality it is a blessing. As days go forward, so to do our skills and abilities. Quality bars are raised, and as such it forces us to do and make better. The Saab is no exception to this rule, and because of this a lot of 3D modeling and texturing has been entirely re-worked on this aircraft! For this project, time has been a GOOD thing. Many people are likely curious as to what we have coming down the pipeline in terms of systems functionality, and we are quite confident this will not disappoint! The Saab is aimed to be at the top tier of systems and visual simulation. With this said, we have also upgraded displays to be drawn by our own OpenGL, and additional systems have been added/adjusted according to the manuals we continuously study (as well as the numerous cross-referencing with our lead pilot in this project)! For the moment, I just want to briefly preview what we have re-worked with the 3D and textures on the Saab 340. More will come your way when it comes to systems programming as well, but for now we just want all of you to know that this project has heavy life in it, and it will without doubt make it to your computers in a timely fashion. We don't think you will be disappointed! Enjoy! (HINT: Click on images to see full size!)
  19. Hi, All, I just wanted to give you a new progress update. As you know we announced release week by Tuesday earlier this week and we are now four days into a delay. This is not without good reason, though I understand frustration is likely felt by some whom are excited about the impending release. We were very, very close to hitting the "up for sale" button last week, but a number of very last minute, 11th hour issues popped up. These include: 1. An executive decision by us to re-work the manuals a bit. This is a very complex product in simulation and deserves a well put together systems manual. We have been very happy with the revisions thus far, and are moving as quickly as possible around the clock to get this done. 2. A sound issue was discovered in certain circumstances on Windows hardware. We just completed the fix for this today. 3. In a very last minute move, we made the decision to add a new menu item which will be announced soon, but it's a very handy one and pretty darn cool! We think you all will really enjoy this one when announced. We finished most of the coding on this feature through the night tonight and are currently testing it. 4. A flight tutorial is currently being created. It just seemed like the right thing to do. We have worked extremely hard since we made the initial "week" announcement and tried every best, honest effort to meet our timeline. These last minute decisions and unexpected items in-between have added to that initial timeline, but I assure you we are not far off from release. The extra time taken will ensure the product you receive is more than well rounded compared to any others. We'll be sure of that! We wanted to get some new previews out to at least satisfy the wait, but it's been really hard to squeeze time in for play this week with the work we are trying to pull off in a short period of time. In the meantime, I hope this update gives enough insight to hold you over for a bit. We really apologize for the delay. I assure you it will have been worth the wait! Thanks for your patience, understanding, and for reading!
