  1. Hi, I've been using MATRIC for about 3 months now and it's very, very interesting. I have developed a deck for x-plane and would like to know if anyone knows how to develop an API for X-Plane so that it can communicate with Matric. Should I use X-Plane SDK or XPuipc or only LUA, JSON or C#??? I'm a financial developer but really don't know anything about API integration with X-Plane. I would like to be able to obtain information on the different statuses of X-Plane (DataRef sim/xxxxxxx) in order to be able to pass this information to MATRIC. I would like some help to guide me through this process. Where should I start? 2022-03-06_191343.pdf
  2. Hello! I wanted to create an updated list of all upcoming aircraft for X-Plane 11. If I missed out on some or if you are a developer wanting to add a new plane please send me a pm! Thanks! Hope this will be usefull https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XGZ1udkLuOAkECU8Sgi2An-CknJCqIGdEcncTVgfUqI/edit?usp=sharing
  3. Hello there everybody! We are Crashsite Development. A small team out of the US/Canada who create scenery and more (check our discord https://discord.gg/6nxbV5C We are all X-Plane users and are currently developing PHOG and KDEN. Our other sceneries are KRAL and KMYL. We will be posting our Sceneries HERE and on our Website. http://crashsitedevelopment.us/CrashsiteHome.php (We apologize about loading speed fam and possibly down) We really appreciate the X-Plane community. See ya!
  4. Hi, I am quite new to X-Plane development environment, but have now started up development of a plugin to interface a specific hardware vendors cockpit modules( MCP, COM, NAV, ADF, etc.) The development goes OK, but i am a little confused about the usage of default dataRefs and Commands and the specific IXEG datarefs and commands. Coming from the FSX/P3D/PMDG world, I find the usage of some default datarefs and some addon specific dataref a little confusing. But, so far I have mangaged to get the MCP module almost working, but lack information about the following dataRefs/command. For the Flight director annunciators I am using ("ixeg/733/MCP/mcp_plt_fd_ann"); ("ixeg/733/MCP/mcp_cplt_fd_ann"); without any luck. They seem to not work at all. For the MCP's CRS_A, IAS/MACH, HDG, ALT, VS and CRS_B 7-segment displays I am displaying the values in the hardware when turing the rotaries and then set these values to the corresponding datarRef All , but the vvi-dial_fmp works fine. ("sim/cockpit/radios/nav1_obs_degm"); ("sim/cockpit2/autopilot/airspeed_dial_kts_mach"); ("sim/cockpit2/autopilot/heading_dial_deg_mag_pilot"); ("sim/cockpit2/autopilot/altitude_dial_ft"); ("sim/cockpit2/autopilot/vvi_dial_fpm"); ("sim/cockpit/radios/nav2_obs_degm2"); Can anyone tell me if the dataRefs I am having problem with can be changed to some others? I have used DataRef tools to see if I miss something, but so far I have had no luck.
  5. Hi, Can anyone tell me if it is possible to move( or copy) the Ixeg 733 CDU screens to another monitor? If yes, please tell me how. I need this as I am building a hardware interface plugin for a hardware CDU module.
  6. Hi! While my 787 is working rather well in V9, however when I open the plane in V10, there's a strange issue. The cockpit instruments are semi-transparent during the day and become opaque and properly visible at night. Can anyone help me diagnose this issue? I've already tried checking the light attributes in blender and trying the part transparency in plane maker but none of them seem to fix the issue. If anyone can help me out, that'd be great I attached images of the parts as they appear day and night
  7. I've been flying through the valley where I grew up dozens of times, and every time I think to myself: "I should report this river missing asap!" but I never do. And what's the chance the river will be included in an X-Plane update along the way? It's completely lacking, where there should be bridges, it's just normal road. Until that happens, if it's going to take a while, is it possible to add the rivers on my own? If so, how? And with what tools? Hopefully WYSIWYG, like WED or similar.
  8. I'll try not to make this post too ponderously large, but I've got a few things to announce and I just figured I get it all done at once. I have been working on some new aircraft for X-plane for a few months now ( I say a few, but it's probably been 6 or 7 months since I first got the creative bug to work on plane for Xplane) and I thought it was about time I introduced myself to the fantastic flight sim community here and let everyone see what I've been working on. I'd love to get some feedback as well as perhaps some answers to some questions that have been plaguing me while trying to get these aircraft finished and flying in the sim. First and foremost is my RV-4, which is very near completion. However I've been confounded by the complexities of getting a fully 3D panel working and animated in X-plane. For me the easy part is the modeling. Once I started trying to make it all work in the sim, I began to have problems. I've been watching Dan Klues tutorial youtube channel incessantly, but it still doesn't quite make sense to me how the custom gauges and manipulators work. If any of you more left-brain inclined individuals would like to help me with this I would certainly appreciate it. Next is a detailed rendition of the venerable 1913 Deperdussin Monocoque Racer. The model for this is nearly complete and I also put together a new ACF file in Planemaker for it, but again I have been frustrated by issues. For some odd reason when I test the ACF in X-plane, the second the plane is loaded up on the runway, it flips insanely end over end and crashes. I made sure that all wind or weather of any kind is turned off, but I still get this issue where it flips like a flap jack from just idling on the runway. The only thing I can see that is any different in Planemaker is that there is a Red Dot at the front of the aircraft which is representing the Weight and Balance reference point. Normally this is a black dot. Lastly I've also been working on an awesome little aircraft known as the Bede-5. It's not a well known or particularly successful aircraft in terms of commercial sales, but it's such a unique little airplane and it has the distinction of being the smallest jet in the world. I'd like to make both an original propeller driven version, circa the 1970's, as well as a modernized jet powered version which I believe can still been seen on the airshow circuit even today. These will all be offered for free at Xplane.org. I would eventually like to make some Payware aircraft, but only if I feel that I have created a complete package that brings something unique to the Xplane flight sim community. Thanks for reading!
