  1. I know exactly what he means. X-Plane doesn't like displaying draped objects over tile boundaries - so if you have one placed in one tile (like the one in the North of LFPG) which partly crosses into the lower tile, X-Plane will not draw the draped object on the other tile.
I've been meaning to look into this issue to find a workaround, but haven't got round to it yet...

You can see this in-sim with this example from a conversion of Taxi2Gate's LFPG (not the same scenery, but the same problem).

Hi Super27 and welcome to X-Plane and IXEG!

I wouldn´t say no - but there is certainly more change from a -300 to a -400 than from a -300 to the -500. More overwing exits, different temperature control... In the future we would like to pick off the easy derivatives, but we have to weigh if the additional work is at least on par with the additional sales we would get from it.

    Cheers, Jan

I know I'd pay extra for a -400, the -500 isn't much of an interest to me though ;)

  3. Jet Time livery anybody please?

Norwegian company flying the 737 for British Airways in the UK. You'd be hugely popular with the guys at British Airways Virtual if an appropriate livery could be painted. ;-)

I've got all the resources for this livery but not the time to finish it :( exams next week and a trip home means the PC is somewhat locked away...

Well, the 777/787 offer FPA capability :)

See the little button on top of the V/S window, allows one to toggle between V/S and FPA. In fact the window is in FPA mode

Boeing or Airbus, both are highly automated nowadays. It's not really true that a Boeing is "less" automated than an Airbus. The flying/cockpit philosophy might be different, but the automation is there on both manufacturers :)

OK I'll concede I should have mentioned "old-school" Somewhere in there ;)

It looks great, is it a payware or freeware?

It appears to be a self-conversion of this FSX Scenery. Don't try getting it unless familiar with converting scenery or you'll be disappointed! I have it too and pretty sure a fair bit of work was needed to bring it to a good standard.

I quite like this simple livery, but for some reason EI-STA only wore it for about a year before moving on to a much more plain and boring ASL livery. Thought I'd recreate this nice looking machine instead!

Winglets not painted as the real aircraft doesn't have them (plus that pattern would be a real PITA to do).

    great liveries...and great improvements :)

Thanks guys! I personally think the new one is far better but then the IXEG 737 is a fantastic canvas to start with ;) I must say I respect my attention to detail from 5 years ago though, it may be lower resolution but everything is pretty much where it should be...

The first airliner livery I ever posted to the .org was Kenya Airways for the XPFW 737-300. Now we have the spiritual successor to that aircraft, I thought I'd see what I could do with 5 years more experience and a gorgeous model!

Certainly safe to "give it a go" and see what happens.   With 300,000+ nav points, you never know......but I can tell you that there has hardly been a bug like this we could not patch in a day or two...then try it again, etc.  The HOTFIX system is all about getting customers improvements to code as quickly as possible.  We certainly don't stop trying to improve the code, we're on it every day....well...family gets weekends.

Excellent to hear! The hotfix system is fantastic by the way, genuinely innovative and so much nicer than a full (or partial) manual reinstall!

A nice, easy livery after a busy day! I do like it though - Aviolet is the charter arm of Air Serbia, using the remnants of JAT Airways' fleet out of Belgrade.

Oh boy, I'm giving up. I painted the exact shape of the left window but it still doesn't cover the whole window on the ride side. The problem is that if I make it any bigger it will start showing on the left side.

OK I agree, this is 100% an error on IXEG's part, the UV map is misaligned compared to the window it is taken from!

@Morten @Litjan One for the bug tracker ;)

WING FLEX IS A MUST HAVE!!!!!

Try to put into version 2 if possible.

Have you seen how minimal it is on the classics? You can barely notice it in reality - only the very outboard portion moves, and even then only a few inches at most! It's nice to have but in small, stiff-winged aircraft it is far from necessary.

Save dev time for more interesting additions I say!
