I spent a fair bit of time today trying to diagnose why my previously working islander was now broken. I spent time searching for potential issues/fixes/others with this problem on the internet, with no luck. The problem seemed to stem from the fact that fuel taps on the OHP would not turn in to an on position. The plane engines stalled shortly after a statup in running configuration. They simply could not be started from cold and dark as the fuel valves could not be opened. I eventually gave up and went through the whole uninstall and reinstall the plane process. This time, I chose the stable gizmo option as the recent email about beta gizmo expiring suggested that mightr have been my issue. The complete reinstall using the stable gizmo left me with a plane model that worked as expected again. Could the fact that the model's fuel taps were locked be related to the gizmo beta plugin expiring?
