Please Javier keep going with your great project!

[Philipp] Again FMS on when you switch off the battery
davidngr replied to davidngr's topic in Canadair CRJ-200
It seems that this small issue is still present in the new release. Here is a video to show you which the problem is: as I have already said before, the strange thing is that the screen of the FMS turns blank if I try to switch off the battery twice Davide -

Hi Philipp did you manage to solve this minor issue in the 1.4.3:-)? Davide -

Hi Javier I don't think that FMS should be on if there is no power supply. Anyway other pages remain on when I switch off the battery. -
This time we have the opposite problem: when I switch off the battery, the FMS remains ON:-) Minor bug that needs to be solved:-) Davide

This is what I have meant in the above mentioned post as you can seen in the screenshot attached!

Hi I have just downloaded it! I was just taking a look at it and one thing that struck me most was that FMC was on even though there is not any power supply at all! Is it normal? It was a great job Ps: Is there any tutorial on how to get the hang the of the new FMC functions? Davide
-
I agree with you! Nothing is lost:-) Only time will tell. Anyway this aircraft seems a good solution for a mid-term project. And I hope Philip and you will continue to implement the systems of the CRJ200 to make it more realistic. I will always support u in any case! Davide
-
I like the aircraft, but If I were you, I would concentrate my efforts on A320...
-
Philip is a genius in the bottle:-)
-
Great job man!!!
-
Thanx Tristan:-) Are u a real CRJ pilot? Davide
-
Thanx for your reply!Could you please better explain to me this above-mentioned concept: "then once your APU RPM drops below 50% you can then press PWR/FUEL." Do you usually leave the APU doors open during the ascent phase? Davide
-
Hi Ros:-) If I am not wrong, this function is not simulated:-(
-
Many thanx:-) BTW hope the CRJ200 will simulate also the 14th stage bleed one day:-)
-
Just a question ouf of sheer curiosity: Should we start the APU after takeoff while climbing up to 10000 ft?
-
Yeah I know Javier:-) I know we can use it:-) Just to know whether this new FMS was implemented by this advisory feature:-) Ok hope to find it soon in the next update:-)
-
Will the updated FMC calculate the DESCENT POINT?
-
Hi guys hope you are all ok. I have strange issue:after landing the PFD and the FMC suddenly turn blank, even though there is enough power to feed both of them. I don't know why! I am also using the FMC on a different machine... Here is a screenshot....Hope to hear from you asap

Thanx, Philip, a clear and thorough explanation

When following the BEFORE TAKE-OFF CHECK LIST procedure, I happen to read this: Light & Strobes ........................... As Required Fuel Crossflow .......................................... Off IGNITION / ANTI-ICE ... .............. As Required Flight Attendant .................................. Advised Transponder / TCAS ........... ON / As Required Radar .......................................... As Required CAS .... ......................... Checked and Cleared Bugs ... .............................................. (Review) What does CAS stand for (CALIBRATED AIR SPEED, by chance)? Then, how can I set the Fuel crossflow to Off position?
