  1. Doing a lot of flights today i noticed that, for some unknown reason, the frames are going down from 80 to 20 sometimes. SMP is then taking 75% of render time as the plugin admin tells me. After force reloading the clouds most of the time it goes back to normal framerates. Maybe it is one type of cloud constellation which tanks a lot of frames. as I have no clue about what is going on I will keep an eye on it if I find the cause. My setup uses SMP, RWC and FSGRW. >90% of time frames are great even with cloud draw distance maxed out. So this is not a big issue.
  2. after doing some more testing in beta 2 and 3 with latest SMP, it seems to work really good now. I think this version can stay for the duration of 11.50 betas. as long as LR does not change some fundamental stuff before the finish line.
  3. The new version is working very good so far with 11.50 Vulkan. The performance is quite good and I can even have the range slider to the max without frame loss (was not possible in the past with OpenGL). Some things I noticed: - the procedural Cloud Types for Overcast are not displayed right if viewed from above the clouds. - if I set the weather to "stormy" the frame rate drops to low single digit numbers (while having 60-80fps on all other weather variants) and the clouds are not rendered right. If viewed from above it is just a flat white area. Also It seems the rain particles are broken. All tests have been done with RWC set to "never" to use only the parameters from the sim. For the first XP11 Beta with Vulkan all in all the result is very promising :-)
