  1. The lowest value you can set the ZFW in the ground service menu in the IXEG is 33.33 tons. But the plane-maker says empty weight is 72380 lbs (32831kg). So Im not sure what is correct. Or maybe crew is included at the lowest ZFW in the ground service menu
  2. The default B737-300 on simbrief is operating with this values. And you can change them. I may have modified my 733 profile for PFPX. I dont remember
  3. Yes, in this case you have to set your CG on the FMS to 10.6%. I dont think its really have anything to say what you put in the CG on the FMS . Its just a tool for calculating your TRIM setting for the takeoff, that you allready got from the ground service menu (4.6 units). The most important part is to actual set the correct TRIM for your aircraft. But I always do update the FMS with the CG.
  4. Depending how you plan your flight. But the PAX and Cargo is set by adjusting the ZFW at the groundservice menu. Here is an example from PFPX (payware) I got 111 PAX and 1175kg CARGO which gives me a ZFW of 44.6 tons. So just set 44.6 tons ZFW on the groundservice menu. You can also use the free tool SimBrief.com for planning your flight.
  5. Yes. Using the manual brakes will disengage the auto brake system. As intended.
  6. Hello It normally should be placed here. So I assume its not modeled or maybe it is a company specific option ?
  7. One of the good things with x-plane is that you can just move it to where you like. So no need for reinstall. Im not sure if it is recommended to install it on root. I would make a folder on "C:" and move x-plane in that folder. i.e, C:\Sim\X-Plane 11 or C:\Games\X-Plane 11
  8. You have installed X-Plane 11 on your desktop. And your name/path include "non" english characters. I would recommend to install X-Plane 11 somewhere else. i.e. C:\games\X-Plane 11 or something. EDIT: I probably get mocked for suggesting "games"
  9. Hi The Hold feature is not implemented (yet).
  10. Im no scenery developer, but it seems that some airports have taxiway with very high friction. Even default airports. Is it the same issue on every airports?
  11. New version is out. See first post for updated details about the imminent failure option. Changelog: 0.112- Added option 'Imminent Failure'.- Changed default MTBF from 10 to 20 hours.
  12. At the moment X-Plane is not very good at running on many cores. This may be changed in future. But hard to say when and if. So the best CPU will basically be the CPU with highest GHz pr core. I.e. a 32 core CPU with 3GHz will most likely performe worse then a 8 core CPU with 4.5GHz You can read more here from the x-plane developers. http://developer.x-plane.com/2016/11/some-notes-on-x-plane-11s-system-requirements/
  13. It depends on what settings you prefer in X-Plane. Some settings depends on CPU and other on GPU. Take a look at this video from Laminar Research.
  14. You can also use this to manage your plugins https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/31085-xorganizer-windows/ Works very well.
  15. Nevermind.. I get the same crash as you with transiton LB481, But no issues with LB482 transition. Maybe some bad navdata? STAR: VENES1G RWY: ILS25Z TRANSITION: LB481 and LB482 EDIT: did some more tests around this. And it looks like the problem is between D078K and LB484. If I change the LB484 "Sp_Turn" to right, it does not crash. but then ofc the route will be wrong. So maybe there is some route drawing/calculation that is going wrong. <AppTr_Waypoint ID="4"> <Name>D078K</Name> <Type>Normal</Type> <Latitude>51.273594</Latitude> <Longitude>22.969514</Longitude> <Speed>0</Speed> <Altitude>2500</Altitude> <AltitudeCons>0</AltitudeCons> <AltitudeRestriction>above</AltitudeRestriction> <Flytype>Fly-by</Flytype> <BankLimit>25</BankLimit> <Sp_Turn>Auto</Sp_Turn> </AppTr_Waypoint> <AppTr_Waypoint ID="5"> <Name>LB484</Name> <Type>Normal</Type> <Latitude>51.276389</Latitude> <Longitude>22.968000</Longitude> <Speed>0</Speed> <Altitude>2500</Altitude> <AltitudeCons>0</AltitudeCons> <AltitudeRestriction>above</AltitudeRestriction> <Flytype>Fly-by</Flytype> <BankLimit>25</BankLimit> <Sp_Turn>Left</Sp_Turn> GizmoLog.txt
  16. Did you enter the runway before the STAR? if so, try enter the STAR, RUNWAY and then TRANSITION to see what happens.
  17. I must admit that I did do some other stuff on the longest legs. So I wasent monitoring the instruments and aircraft all the time The funny part is.. Just after you posted this, one of the youtube channel's I subscribe on posted a video with a approach to BGBW. What is the chance of that
  18. There is some issues with camera-control after loading the situations. So I need to solve that before I can release anything :/ So the project is a bit on hold at the moment.
  19. BGSF is the correct airport. Just misplaced the airport when I made the map I have landed on BGBW earlier. But that was with the SAAB 340A. But it could be fun to land the 733 at BGBW also.
  20. Yesterday I was back to where I started this unplanned world tour adventure. Very fun to just plan one leg at the time and explore destinations you would never visit in "normal-mode" simming. And big kudos to IXEG. I had no issues with the aircraft or CTD during this tour. Only a couple of failures, so the QRH had to be used My route ended up like this. ESOK Karlstad EGFF Cardiff BGSF Kangerlussuaq CYYZ Toronto KLAS Las Vegas PHNL Honolulu PKMJ Majuro Atoll AGGH Honiara YSSY Sydney YPDN Darwin WAAA Ujung Pandang-Celebes Island WSSS Singapore VTBS Bangkok VGEG Chittagong VNKT Kathmandu VIDP New Delhi OMDB Dubai OKBK Kuwait City LGSM Samos Island LRSB Sibiu EHRD Rotterdam ESOK Karlstad
  21. Im no pilot, so I can't give you the answer how they are using it in the real world. But in this video you can see they are using v/s pretty "heavily". I simply use the mode that are solving what I try to achieve. So for max descend I often use LVL CHG. For a more controlled descend I use V/S. So if ATC says; cross "waypoint" at FL140, you can easily do that with V/S. And I often use V/S to slow down to 240kts before I go below FL100. Which gives a more smooth ride
  22. It depends on what version of X-Plane you are using. If you are using X-Plane 11 you should upgrade to v1.2. You can find your version on the left side menu. I would recommend the v1.2 for both X-Plane 10 and 11. But that is up to you Regarding the fuel tanks, you should always fill your main tanks (wing tanks) first, then center tank. And if you have fuel in center tank you should use fuel from center tank first, and then main tanks. But turn on all 6 fuel pumps. And turn off center tank pumps when its almost empty. If fuel pumps on center tank is on with less then 20kg fuel (or so), you will get master caution warning. You should not use fuel from center tank during takeoff if the center tank contains 453kg (1000lbs) fuel or less. Turn can turn the center tank pumps on when you are on stable cruise.
  23. Do we need to request a "Red button" from Jan ? Anyway, something like this ? If you set the service interphone to "ON" you force the MTBF to 5 minutes in this test. I could maybe increase it to 10min.
  24. Testing out some new tweaks on the MTBF-code. This is for now just a test, but I tried to smooth out the MTBF a little. So what I have done is to make the failures less chance to happend if your flight time is below the MTBF you have set, and equal higher chance when you are above the MTBF. What do you think ? The result is this OLD: NEW:
  25. If I understand it correct the window heat will automaticly turn off if it is a very hot day and the window heat is not needed. So lets say you have all the window heat switches on, but two of the OFF lights are illuminating, you can use the power test to "Verify operation of the window heat system". I have a different window heat panel in my FCOM which have ON lights instead of OFF lights. So if you have the window heat switch in ON position, the OFF light can illuminate if the "system is at correct temperatur". In this condition you can do a Power Test. I may be very wrong about this
