After installing the beautiful Florida scenery in my XPX I noticed that the former installed KMIA Miami International pay ware scenery was gone. After disabling the Key Largo Portion of the Florida scenery, the airport was back in full cinemascope ;-) Question: I there a way to have both sceneries active at the same time? Any suggestions will be appreciated. regards Harald

I have the frame rate dropping to 1 fps if I forget to unable the xfmc mac plugin before loading the plane. If I quit x-plane, disable xfmc by XAddonManager and reload, everything is fine. Check your plugins, maybe there is a new scenario. All other plugins I need and use are compatible. Have fun....

hi greglloyd, thank you for your investigation but I have to veto ;D Why? I am currently running 10.6.7 without issues. From my experience I had more problems with 10.6.6 than with the current version. It might alos be the case that 10.6.6 caused more troubles and several of those were fixed in 10.6.7. But maybe not all. I would not recommend to step back, maybe you loose more than you gain. Please have a check about what you are losing before changing in the same sources you checked for HandleOFAScalerMessage. Stepping backward might not be easy when you already ran 10.6.7 for a longer period of time before. anyway, have fun with it

I do not know him personally but I think you're right, Javier. IIRC Tom took part in the developing of the Fokker 100 which is available for free in release 2.3, currently. Now living the life of a plane developer sometimes puts these people also into a role where they want to give special support to new planes that they are interested in. That's, what he does i think. You can find evidence in his support for nearly every new payware plane coming to market. He wrote a UFMC profile for the Q800 and did a lot of testing. Now, the CRJ seems interesting to him and he is fascinated. Being a software developer myself I also realize that jokes, kiddying and even hilarious or silly comments are quite normal when developers talk to each other. Within the context of a support forum let's say with all the users as an 'audience' you cannot talk the same way as if you were in a collegue-to-collegue situation. That's what he did: he just did not realize the context. So, the question was correct: "Was that needed?" Being also a german myself I do not think that he intended to make comments that show racism or ethnic jokes. Our history does not put us in a role to do this without consequences. We all know. So we could blame him for ignoring the support channel context, but for nothing else. And now let us come back to business. That plane is fantastic and hopefully Tom will return. Looking forward to that. ;D

Yesterday I did the whole tutorial flight on my I7 imac without any CTD. All plugins were ENABLED (apart from XFMC which I do not need while flying the CRJ200). All clicks and checks within the tutorial were done (except the holding and the direct at Valencia ) Also XSB and XACARS were loaded but not connected. It's too early for online tutorials and me.

hehehe That will be my next appraoch. Next time. Maybe it might be worth to inform the upcoming customers from within the installation part of the manual. Especially mac users tend to be lazy mousmovers ;D (like me). At least you can reply "You have been warned..." after the next one to complain about the effects he/she produced by 'just clicking' : have a very nice day

BTW: I have the same effect when switching to 3D pilot view via Ctrl-O on several x-plane default planes. There is a x-plane adinistration tool available at x-plane.org where you can easily enable and disable plugins, sceneries and aircrafts before starting x-plane. It was available long before CRJ200 came to market. Thus, these kind of 'incompatibilities' are not new and for sure not associated to a single plane. Hey guys, if you're on a mac and want to introduce the new 1106 AIRAC don't make the same silly mistake: Do NOT ( I repeat: NOT! move the JRollonPlanes directory of your downloades AIRAC file over to the X-Plane home directory. Also do not respond with 'replace' on the following popup. Because after you do this, the subdirectory 'CRJ200' and the directory to store the saved flightplans will be gone. You will have frameless popup instruments and FMC and you will not be able to have any clicks on the FMC buttons because they are simply not there. So my hint: After upgrading your AIRAC, see what happened to your JRollonPlanes directory. Missing directories can manually be restored from the installation package. hope this warning came quick enough for somebody BTW: I like this bird and the way it is done and supported. Thank you.

Yes... install XHSI on second computer. Did that already before purchasing the plane. Also nice to have the Navigraph software installed on the second PC. Sometimes a single 27" screen is simply not enough ;D Helps a lot while plane hopping - which is usual for flightsimmers, isn't it?

For me it is fair enough to look for patches and upgrades myself. I definately don't need an email telling me something new is available. This plane is in everybodies thought and many many forums have threads about it. The hallway whisper around the world can be read loud and clear (5by5). So everybody can decide between being a customer or being interested. If you're interested the message will get through to you. If you're a 'lazy' customer that could take some time. .oO(poor boy) ;D Instead of complaining about missing customer care due to missing emails we should all give these guys the best opportunities to fix the reported issues. They are developers and they should not focus on 'marketing' issues that much. The less we complain about what we think good customer care should look like the more they can focus on technical issues. Hey guys, you are doing a very professional job. Try to keep those kinda complaints out of your focus. These so-called 'whiners' have still in mind that they get better service when complaining louder than others. For this behaviour, the developers should have a good contract and a very good monthly salary. In fact, they don't so please let us all be a bit more patient. Thanks
