  1. I bought Skymaxx pro v2 on 2014, it was the only Pro weather visual & top-selling ad-don for X-Plane. And here we are on 2020 and still is one of the best and most complete weather visual ( many users already own it)

  5. @sundog Is this Skymaxx bug or X-Plane beta 10 ? i saw you mentioned before (shadow redraw etc)
  6. testing now , making a route LGAV-EGLL , weather 100% accurate exactly as it is on ASXP + the weather comes from the front smooth with out any abruptly loading transitions.Also now skymaxx is using different type of clouds + more layers ( or is my impression..!!) anyway still testing.
  7. Because RWC communication with ASXP has issues on "Always" or "FSGRW/External Injector". The only option that works and has accurate metar is "Never". So now temporary i use Both ( no issues so far) .FSGRW injects weather for the clouds on FSGRW/external injector while i have all winds/turbulence and active air effects from ASXP.
  8. Making a route with Cloud Art 3.3 and flickering issue is still there. When SMP is activated for some reason is much stronger and only when decrease Max surface visibilty on Active Sky ( less than 15km) is getting better. But is still there. Regarding Terrain polygons near Horizon in mountain regions, you mean the floating mountain issue? there is a fix on x-plane.org renopt_planet 1 and change it to: renopt_planet 0 on X-plane preferences

  11. i have also this Horizon-Flickering issue almost in all flight-routes on high altitude ( above 30.000ft). Acts randomly and i think its X-Plane issue.
  12. Make some flights with real weather ( Active sky or Fsgrw) on Cloudy conditions, new lighting looks ultra nice + one step further from previous releases.

  14. i also have this issue with Zibo + Toliss 321 , X-Plane default aircraft works fine ( always in 11.50). Will check later FF350 and 767
  15. Got your point, this looks like cloud art? Nice details but as aways repeatable. Check also those Smp photos looks more real even with less details
  16. Already sent those previews to Active Sky, its clear that Fsgrw works much better with SMP+RWC.For sure they must cooperate but is it possible? especially if they are working on their own visual addon
  17. from what X-Plane could give us right now in weather ( including all restrictions and bad weather engine ) i think SkyMaxx is the only honest addon that works with X-Plane. And i used the word "honest" as makes exactly what represents, no volumetric fake promises, bad optimizations,Impressive clouds with huge fps traps behind etc... Cloud art is very good freeware alternative 2d cloud addon but has nothing to do with Skymaxx. My main issue right now is that is not working 100% with Active Sky (compared with Fsgrw.).

  19. SkyMaxx Pro 4.9.2 on X-Plane 11.50b2/3 + Asxp or Fsgrw + "Ves" Sky colors Works really good so far in Vulkan
  20. Do you have this "over saturation" with Zibo interior/cockpit view? had the same issue but only with Zibo so far , Tbm 900 and default X-plane planes works fine. i dont think its Skymaxx issue
  21. we thank you for your great and fast support , Skymaxx was the only visual weather addon that worked with X-plane 11.50 Some extra issues that i had during some flights: -On Every change you make on Skymaxx rendering settings, Cumulus textures return on Fast ( i think that was fixed on 11.41) -Had some micro-stutters during some middle-heavy cloud conditions ( never had on 11.41 ). Re-checked with Default X-Plane clouds and everything was smooth so it was clear SMP issue. -Looks like Cloud area covered hits more fps on vulkan. On 11.41 i had 60.000 sq.km with less fps drop. Possibly needs better optimization which is normal as Vulcan is still in Beta. best Seth
  22. Just scrolling while being on the ground of LGAV artifact issue is back. only solution for now is to set O to cloud/terrain softness. same result with Active Sky or FSGRW. I had also some flickering horizon artifacts during a route ( dont know if this has to do with SMP) . check attached video i send you also log.txt + graphic settings which are not standard as i am trying to find the best spot for my rig ( 8700k /1080ti gtx + 32gram) Log.txt b738 - 2020-04-05 5.38.46 PM.avi
  23. made a short test flight,didn't have any artifact cloud issue so far. But Clouds especially Tower changing form ( appearing/disappearing) while scrolling above horizon with cloud/terrain default setting
