I think i have found a small bug: When i manipulate the altitude wheel on the autopilot panel, it changes the displayed altitude on the pfd not corretly. When you scroll up, it changes from 400ft to 1500ft, then at 1900ft to 1000ft again. It only shows when not using STD pressure and happens every 1000 ft... Maybe you could incorporate the fix in your next update. Everything else works flawlessly! Its a great airplane! Thanks again!

Hello @airfighter, i have a problem with the installer. It downloads the files very slow. Its only 4KB/s, it would take over 10 hours to download. I tried a restart and reconnenct to the internet, but it didnt help. Maybe an issue with the x-aviation server at the moment? I will try again later!

I am in for a simple 2d traffic depiction on the EHSI, too. (I wouldnt call it tcas...) Forgive me my ignorance, but aren't you guys using the default x-plane weather radar, of course with multiple layers on top? Maybe it would be "relative" simple to add the default traffic symbols to that layer and customize the texture of the traffic symbols? I personally wouldn't care much about the various different symbols and "modes" (filled diamond, dot, squares etc.) but just to have a very basic indication of surrounding traffic maybe with a relative altitude. I'm just thinking out loud, you probably had this idea already years ago Greetings Jonas

Regarding TCAS: Does that mean i am not going to see those "diamonds" at all, or does it only mean there wont be any pitch commands and call outs? I would love to see even a "simplified" indication of traffic on the map for better situational awareness. Greetings Jonas

Hi, thanks for this Outerra topic. Only because of this topic i downloaded the alpha. I have to say i am really impressed! Even on my laptop i get 40 or more fps, with visuals that are breathtaking. Of course there seems much more to do, but i hope development will continue. Greetings!

I am jealous! 100$/hr is a good price, i think. Here in Germany its around 160€ per hour. Not quite cheap. I had my first flight in one of those simulators (running Prepared V2 by the way) on 3rd January. I didnt bought one hour, but only a 20min "taster" (?) It was an experience nevertheless! I also choose to fly the 738 (instead of an A320), just because i like to have a yoke in front of me I think everything stands and falls with the instructor. My instructor was very enthusiastic. He was a real world pilot, flying helicopters and a Vulcanair observer for the german police. He made a small familiarization, set up the sim and helped me with the fmc and was a very cool co-pilot... 20 minutes is of course a little short, but i made some traffic pattern in Frankfurt, manually followed the ILS to minimums, and even got a chance to fly the Kai-Tak approach. Very cool! Greetings!

If you want to calculate your required v/s for a 3° Glidepath, as seen on the above approach chart, you could use this estimation: V/S=GS*5=160kt*5=800fpm as an example Of course this only works for a GP=3°, if its steeper (some are 3,5° or more), you have to decent faster... Furthermore, most approach plates have a small table with calculated V/S for a range of ground speeds. Yours doesnt have that tho... And if you want to be on the save side, you can always decent on a higher rate, but leveling of at the "steps" specified. Hope it helps a little...

Haha good one! So you fly your Let like its designed to be flown I actually just crossed the Atlantic with a Dornier 328 in FSE. It was a very interesting experience! Now there is at least one 328 in Europe. I think i will fly some more over the pond. When you attempt to cross the ocean, maybe take an engineer with you, just to be sure Greetings
