  1. Well i have not been able to reproduce this again either! I know i saw it while flying in Alaska, did several tests to figure out what was going on; but i can't get this to happen again. Go figure. But i gueass that is good. Maybe i ate too much turkey? Hawkeye
  2. Interesting. I wonder if i have a plugin conflict? I will do some testing and try to post some screen shots. Is there an update more recent than 1.5.1 that i have missed?
  3. For some reason i have just noticed that the map scale is not correct. I have not noticed this before, but in checking distnces to airport markers on the MFD map against the local map in the sim, the MFD map is way off. For example, an airpot shows on the MFD to be ~ 8 miles away but is really more than 20 miles away. I am running x-plane 10.25. I have the 1.5.1 update. I am using the new HD V2 Scenery - i suspect this is where the issue is becuase i have not noticed this before. None of my other planes have this issue with the HD scenery. Hawkeye
  4. Updated to 10.6.8. Did some testing to see if there was any graphics improvement in X-plane. Got exactly the same frmae rate for my system. This doesn't mean that there wasn't improvement, it may mean that for me, the limiting factor was CPU performance. I suspect that most people won't see a change. ( I already get very high FPS with good settings on objects and visibility at 25nm) System specs: Mac Pro, 4 processors, INtel, 3Ghz speed, 4 Gbyte memory. Nvidia GEForce 8800 GT.
  5. Well I too am having problems with the update. I have run some tests and find that this version of Gizmo does cause some interference with other planes that use Xap/SASL plugins. In my case i interferes with Shade Tree Micro aviation PC-12 - some of the instruments don't display at all. If i remove Gizmo from the plugins folder this interference disappears. The previous version of Corvallis C400 1.2 (and the Gizmo that came with it) for some reason did not interfere with anything that I had including the PC-12. So something about the newer GIZMO is interfering with some planes that also use XAP/SASL plugin with LUA scripting. That being said, i did figure out (at least for me) that if after trying to load the PC12, if i disable the gizmo plugin using the plugin manager, and then re-load the PC12, i can get it to work ok. So that makes it at least workable right now anyway. So those with issues might try to see if this solution also will work for them. Is there anyway you can change so that the GIZMO plugin is in the aircraft folder instead of the resources/plugin folder? But I suppose that this may negate some required capabilities. Next - regarding the moving map. All is ok when on the ground, but when on the terrain setting, as i climb higher the terrain colors slowly change until as I reach about 5000 ft above ground all the terrain colors are black - no terrain at all on the map. One last question. Can the user make some planemaker setting changes without fouling up the license? I would like to change the trim settings to reduce sensitivity for example. Previously this was not allowed - at least for me if i did so the licensing protection would not let me run.
  6. If i download this new version, will my Corvalis still work ok (it has DRM protection) I would like to try some scripting on another aircraft, but obviusly i can't have two versions of the plugin installed at the same time.
  7. What are the implications of the open version of GIZMO? Is the latest GIZMO release compatible with Corvalis? I would like to do some GIZMO scripting on another aircraft, but the version i have in my plugin folder is the older version (which came with the Corvalis) which will time out in 10 minutes. Can i update to the open version of GIZMO (i assume that one is open source (?)) and still have it work ok with the Corvalis?
  8. You'll need to re-install from the original zip file. OK. Wow, it seems that the only file i can find is the C400-1.2.zip update - but that doesn't appear to be all the files. I can't believe i was so stupid as to not save the original zip file. Will re-installing the 1.2 update file do the job?
  9. Well i did make a change to the view settings ( show outside structure in 2-d panel forward view), but i have done that before with success. I changed them back though. Nothing else at all has changed on my system that i know of since last time i flew Corvalis. All other planes fly ok.
  10. I just tried to fly Corvallis for first time this year and after just a short time everything is turned off ( i mean batteries, engine, all control input, etc. and i cannot turn it back on) I assume this is GIZMO denying me use. Why? I have not changed computers or anything like that. I notice in the file i have a license with a beginning and ending date. Why is there an ending date? Do I have to pay money to continue to fly?
  11. I run Mac, OS 10.6.4 with intel processors. I double checked and everything is good when Gizmo 10.3.8 is installed. By the way, i tried the kickstart scripts and they did not open the repository browser files. All i got was an empty window with scroll buttons but noting in it to select.
  12. I notice that installing this version of Gizmo causes an interference with another payware plane that i have from STMA that uses SASL/XAP with lua scripts (it causes some of the instruments to not display). It doesn't help to disable Gizmo once the aircraft is loaded. If i go back to the Gizmo version that came with my purchase of the C400 ( 10.3.8 ) then everything is ok.
  13. I just purchased this today (7/8/10) and i have the same problem. I wasn't sure if you were referring to a future update or update 1.1.
