  1. Javier, double congratulations! First for your baby Teo, I am also expecting a baby soon and can imagine the excitement. And for your virtual baby that just saw the light, this last one we all have been impatiently waiting for. I wish you a great success. In Mexico we say that babies come with a "torta" under their arm, and I wish this is it for you. That it provides for your family and encourages you to continue developing amazing products for X-Plane. I want to congratulate Anton, Cameron and Philip also and thank them for their invaluable contribution to this project, I am sure it was not easy to accomplish and I wish the benefits from this project are abundant and continued. May this be the beginning of a new level product development for X-plane that benefits the growing community of happy users of this platform. I am buying mine very soon. I can't afford it right away, since I am expecting a baby soon, but I don't care, I am willing to confront my wife when she finds out that I spent 60 bucks in something she can't understand the value. So be it. Thank you so much for your persistence, your dedication and your talent. I am sure i will get countless hours of enjoyment from this amazing product. Best wishes to all the development team Juan
  2. Thanks for the update Javier, but just so you know, I would have bought it just for the 3D model and UFMC capable from "tu tocayo". Knowing the quality of the planes you make and to support future developments would have done it for me. And now just waiting impatiently for the manual to be available for download and for the release of the plane. I plan to purchase it as soon as it is available, so take your time to finalize properly but HURRY UP!
  3. Wow! Great news. I can't thank you enough for keeping the project alive. Count me in already
  4. I downloaded and installed with no problems, except there was a texture for one of the liveries corrupted, but the support team quickly sent me the missing texture and, works perfectly. one of my favorites. MacBook pro 17" 2.8 Ghz 4 GB Ram Nvidia 9600 512 MB, Mac OS 10.6.5, X-Plane 9.62
  5. Hello, I would like to know how to convert Jet-A1 from weight to volume and vise versa. here is my dilemma: using the x737 and goodway v4, in the plane fulling system and instruments the units are either in lb or kg, but in the planner the units are in USGAL, i don't know how much a GAL of fuel weights. Does anybody know? Thanks
  6. I would have love to participate in this one too, but unfortunately today I can't. I have missed a few fly ins and IMHO I think a monthly fly in would be more approachable. Sure everybody in this forum used XP, some more than others, and If build up the excitement for a while I think there could be a better response. Something to plan for. The way it's been for me is like this: sometimes I find out about the fly in just before or even after and there is no time for me to adjust my calendar, some other plans were made with more anticipation and can not be rescheduled. If the fly in were to be lets say the first saturday of every month we could probably recruit more participant, maybe even an ATC which would make the experience more enjoyable. Just a thought
  7. Nice tutorial, thanks! really enjoyed it all (videos included). What's your native language by the way?
  8. I'd love to see the landings hehe, or maybe it's a one on a life time kind of flight
  9. Yeap! when I got my first computer there was not such a thing as internal Hard Drive it was a Casio with 4 KB ram, I used a tape walkman to store my BASIC programs. then came my first HP Vectra with a 8086 processor and 16 KB ram(yes KILO BYTES) 40MB Hard Drive(40 MEGA BYTES in full size 3.5in internal Hard Drive) and color monitor, IT WAS A MONSTER BACK THEN
  10. Thanks a lot Kesomir +1, that is the kind of info I was looking for.
  11. Speaking of virtual airlines... I am a regular online virtual pilot commonly flying on IVAO and occasionally on VATSIM. I only fly using X-PLane 9 on a Mac. I have applied to several VA from my country of origin, Mexico, and I have found that there is no support for X-Plane on Mac users, since flying for this airlines require the use of a FDR software available only for Windoze, and this software is only for MSFS. My understanding is that the FDR software connects to MSFS via FSUIPC to report the particulars of the flight to a something name Compete VA, which is used to post the PIREPS. I read somewhere in this forum about Virtual Pilot Association, a VA that apparently accepts pilots flying on X-Plane, I applied and passed the entry exam to find out there are no openings at this time, and got a position down the queue, something like 87, so it seems that it would not be happening in the remaining of this year. So, my question is: Is there a VA out there that accepts X-Plane pilots running Mac OS 10.6? If so, I would love to join and contribute with my online hours and gain experience, along with the fun and enjoinment that flying online give me. Thanks in advance for the info. Nice paint jobs by the way, nice color schemes and logo.
  12. Here are two pics, one inflight another on approach. I had problems stopping at the end of the short runway and got stuck in the mud, but was a really nice flight. Had to adjust the time to have some daylight, would not dare the approach around this peaks at night time.
  13. I will be flying the Mentor as well Callsign : XA-JAM
  14. here is another scenery of Lukla VNLK Lukla http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=5885 that is ok to use with the runway follows terrain option on, you do want that option on at VNLK since the slope of the runway helps a great deal to stop in such a short runway
