  1. they work just fine. if you are trying to use a key/button, map any key/button of your liking to "hold thrust reverse at max". Reverses will engage and apply while pressing and holding the key/button, will terminate and revert back to forward thrust when releasing the button. note: just as it happens on the real aircraft, reverses will not engage if any forward thrust is still applied (they have a lock mechanism). Throttle levers must be closed to idle first!

  2. I'm (virtually) mega and ultra rich so I have two TBMs (at least)...one at Santa Barbara and another somewhere tooling around Florida. I like to go to Santa Barbara and fly touch and goes (cuz, you know, I'm virtually mega rich) and then go back to Florida for some real trips...for the snakes and humidity, of course. It would be cool if I could have different frames in each place since touch and goes can be pretty hard on landing gear and it's such a pill to fly it all the way across the country to do touch and goes even if the airport is gorgeous. From what I see, you have to put the airplane there and then change the airframe. Wouldn't it be cool to have it do it automatically...keep one airframe at one airport and the other one at a different airport. Load up the sim and the right airplane is there. How cool would that be? Gregg

  3. Dear Sir, I offer my self to be betatester of your new SMP development. Please take in account the next points. XP minimum cloud layer thickness is 2000ft, then we get a problem with METARs like FEW014 SCT020. I recommend two solutions, one is only create a layer using the maximum coverage of the METAR and the lower base, in this METAR we will convert FEW014 SCT020 to SCT014. Increase transition time till 30s, if we get no clouds and we get now BKN it could be better to get 30s to make the transition (or just the opposite, from BKN to clear). Be really careful with bottom cloud level (base) and try to use the dataref (or METAR value) +- 50ft, no more. Try to mix and be aware of the clouds level, it means that if I get one layer from 4500 AMSL to 6500, another from 7500 to 12500 and the last one from 15000 to 18000 AMSL, try to avoid mixing them and maintain the distance and bottom layer position, the top can be variable (+-200m/600ft) but never reach the base of the next layer. Kind regards

  4. I'm not real sure about UWXP as I don't use it, but as they say, "You can always drop back and punt". If every thing goes good then it didn't hurt, and if it still fails to program to expectations then pull it out. And, yes XPLM_64.dll, and XPWidgets_64.dll files need to stay or you'll get pop ups telling you X-Plane is not happy with you and it wants those files back. Have good flight, and remember, runway behind you, airspace above you, and fuel in the fuel truck are absolutely useless! Dwight

  5. P-factor is prominent during climb. What you experience on take off run in mostly torque and slipstream. Also there is gyroscopic precession that predominantly noticeable in tail draggers when tail is raised Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. I'm having great fun (and more than a share of frustration !) building networked panels for the IXEG using Air Manager. I've focused first on most used functionality. My centre (engine instruments) panel is running nicely and I'm working now on the overhead, and to customise flight instruments to better match the 733. To add to some other posts there are a few holes in the data availability I can't plug either directly or with a workaround. Plan A is to use shared cockpit software to display the EADI and EHSI. Plan B is a clockwork Southwest-style cockpit. I've seen past comment in the forum about a dataref for the Flight Director bars - has that been progressed at all? Also search as I might with the dataref tool I can't find anything covering Thrust Modes and Yaw Damper, are they available? Thanks again IXEG team. I've been tempted away temporarily a couple of times by other younger birds, but keep coming back to the good-old Classic. Cheers Jon

  7. Perspective is also important. How much did you spend on groceries last time you shopped? How much does it cost to fill your car? The amount of fuss people make about the cost of software products with free updates lasting years relative to the other expenses in life would be laughable if it wasn't so depressing.

  8. Please read your comment closely, then ask yourself as the possible vendor developer and maker of product complaining about updates how you feel about it.
